Denise was on her way to freedom from Ian when Lucy died and coming back from Oxford. She didn't have a motive, did she?
If they make her a drunk and violent towards Patrick, the audience will go off her and won't mind so much if she did it I suppose?

Denise has fallen apart but she had reason to without living with the guilt of being a murderer. That episode did point towards it being her though, the shot seemed to linger on her when the text message beeped and she seemed preoccupied.

Come on Ronnie, have a baby and be happy!

But she was being nice to Max before that, so no I doubt it's him - it's either Abi or Lauren and Emma suspects he's protecting one of them.

Ronnie did die technically although Emma wasn't in a good way at the end so she could still die ? They did say a death tonight though? I think Abby killed Lucy and Max knows and is covering for her. I thought it was a great episode was on the edge of my seat all the way through it.

Unfortunately for DH who just had to listen to my shouts at the tv, watching the obligatory Xmas/Boxing Day episodes with DM has resulted in me being "into" eastenders now.... I will be keeping an eye on this thread.
