Okay I'm not proud of this but I just looked it up and number 27 is the Mitchell's (where Roxy's party was) so it's to do with the position of those three houses I think..?

GilbertBlytheWouldGiftIt · 31/12/2014 22:04

Wasn't Jane staying at the b&b at the time, not at Ian's? If Ian's house isn't visible from the b&b, then Jane couldn't have seen Lauren arriving or leaving that night. So she was providing a false alibi for Lauren, and presumably has an ulterior motive for doing so.

VashtaNerada · 31/12/2014 22:12

Ooh maybe! I really do need to find something better to do with my time but I just found this map. It's quite old but you can see the Beales, Mitchells (27), Brannings and Truemans.

Ooh its getting v broadchurch.

It wasa good episode ruined by gangsta gronnie and her laughable 'don't make me kill you' line. I really cannot stand ronnie anymore. Her plot lines are verging on the ridiculous, and stealing pulls money when she stole the money after killing karl and didn't she force Phil to give her money to buy the gym?

RedTinsel · 31/12/2014 23:35

Vashta - you really want to geek out get over to the EE forum on digital Spy. The Lucy thread is great.

SparklesForEveryone · 01/01/2015 00:19

(Had lots of wine.....)

Who/what is T&T's mum??

cogitosum · 01/01/2015 00:24

T&ts mum is policewoman Emma. She also plays topsy and tims mum in children's tv

Blondeshavemorefun · 01/01/2015 00:49

Coz Emma is so boring we forget her name and call her t&t mum

Happy new year all - is it valentines day we find out who killed LUCY??

OP posts:
RedTinsel · 01/01/2015 00:57

Yep, another month to go! Argh, I don't think I can stand it. I think it's a live episode as well.

So if Emma knows who it is, why wouldn't she tell the police straight away? Why would she arrange to meet a killer? Unless she's protecting them. So maybe Max, Abi or Lauren.

Doesn't Emma get killed tonight? Before she blabs !!

notoneforselfies · 01/01/2015 11:32

I reckon it's Jane. I think her engagement to Ian, which is all a bit odd and sudden, is to make it extra awful when it's revealed. Also her argument with Emma in the pub sets them up as good adversaries...

and they have rushed the wedding, the nearest date to valentines day.

R4roger · 01/01/2015 11:50

and she does have a drink problem, or at least when she has a scottish accent Grin

Nancy66 · 01/01/2015 12:18

There always has to be eventual justice in soap murders - so the killer has to go to prison - which means it won't be any character who is definitely not leaving. That rules out ian for sure.

Southeastdweller · 01/01/2015 12:33

On Tuesday night I was in the only hotel in the U.K without BBC on the TV and I didn't bring my iPad with me so I haven't watched Tuesday's episode yet - will do later when I get home and before tonight's. Haven't read the comments from you all but intrigued there's been so many over the past two days. It's a 65 minute one tonight and starts at 8.30.

ampersandand · 01/01/2015 12:38

What about Lucys jewellery box under the Christmas tree? That's more of a Cindy thing to do. I really think it was Jane though.

Blondeshavemorefun · 01/01/2015 13:08

A husband can't testify against his wife. Maybe that's why jane wants to marry Ian?

We almost need to see the episode where LUCY got killed again to refresh memories and stalk check where the suspects were Grin

afreshstartplease · 01/01/2015 13:11

Hmmm I'm now thinking Jane

VashtaNerada · 01/01/2015 14:19

Husbands and wives can testify against each other nowadays, that was an old rule. Yes I really want to watch the Good Friday episode again now!!

Southeastdweller · 01/01/2015 18:32

Just caught up. I don't understand this house business at all.

I agree with a PP about it being unlikely that Emma would meet up with a killer if she didn't know them well. Also her soft tone of voice when she said "It's Emma" suggests this.

Then again, if it was one of the Beale or Branning clan, the killer would have her name in their phone so she wouldn't have had to say "It's Emma" Confused

notoneforselfies · 01/01/2015 18:33

Why an hour long tonight? They're not revealing it early are they?

Justwanttomoveon · 01/01/2015 18:35

Does anyone remember why billy had photos of Lucy?
