I guessed halfway through who would survive and who would die - the ending might serve to prove me correct in the end! After all - they have to drag the who killed Lucy out for another few weeks yet!

youarekiddingme · 01/01/2015 21:45

My friend and I have had our bets on Abi being the killer for a few weeks - we aren't ready to change our minds yet

Optimist1 · 01/01/2015 21:46

Was Emma wearing her pyjama bottoms??

fedupandfeelingold · 01/01/2015 21:46

Emma probably will die

bleedingheart · 01/01/2015 21:46

I think Lauren or Abi did it and that's why she said 'you know!'

She could be referring to Jane not being at the Beales to act as a witness for Lauren, Lauren not being there, Abi not being where she was meant to be or Lucy not being somewhere she was meant to have been.
Could she not have been a bit clearer, I know she was bleeding from the ears but we need to know!

Cakeismymaster · 01/01/2015 21:55

Omg that episode was amazing! I knew ronnie wasn't going to die as she isn't leaving or anything but it was so emotional!! Loved it with phil, roxy etc

waithorse · 01/01/2015 21:55

Has someone died tonight ? Please tell me who ?

Cakeismymaster · 01/01/2015 21:56

And defo abi the killer

Felina · 01/01/2015 21:58

Is there any possible way it could be Cora?

Cakeismymaster · 01/01/2015 21:59

No one has actually died yet but ronnie came back to life as Emma started bleeding from her ears. Looks like Emma dies as the lucy killer thing goes on for a while yet.
And I hate nick cotton, I can't decide whether the actor is crap or if he's actually excellent hence making me hate his character so much?

Southeastdweller · 01/01/2015 22:02

I suppose Emma will die tomorrow then. It would be ridiculous for her to live in the same square as the killer for seven weeks (when we find out who killed Lucy).

bleedingheart · 01/01/2015 22:03

Wildcard Felina! But yes! Tough, protective of her granddaughters, keen to move to Newcastle suddenly...

LemonBreeland · 01/01/2015 22:06

Emma is obviously going to die. I also realised that she looks like a Wallace and Gromit character when she does that open mouth thing.

I am still on Abi for killer. Although she happily left the kitchen when Lauren chose to stay.

It was a great episode though. I was starting to worry that it would be Ronnies baby that died. She really couldn't go through that again.

bleedingheart · 01/01/2015 22:07

Yes, 7 weeks of Emma talking to people hidden by trees and hiding names on her phone!

She will die or have amnesia. Or fall into a coma, waking up to say the name of the killer in 7 weeks time!

Kittymautz · 01/01/2015 22:07

It could well be Abi. A while ago there was a scene between Max and Abi where they briefly talked about not letting the truth get out about what happened the night Lucy died. I can't remember the exact wording.

But what could be her motive? She found out about Max and Lucy's affair? But what could Emma have deduced from looking at the houses (and what 'wasn't there') that implicated Abi?

Southeastdweller · 01/01/2015 22:08

Cora is too much of an outsider - I think (and hope) it's someone the viewers have more of an investment in so I think it's one of the Beale's or Branning's. Or Whitney or Denise.

QueenFuri · 01/01/2015 22:10

I think Emma will fall into a coma until the live episode airs then reveal the killer.

RedTinsel · 01/01/2015 22:18

What a brilliant episode, loads of action. I wasn't expecting the car flying into the square.

I didn't think Ronnie would die, thought it might be the baby. EE don't like her being happy. But do they really let people into the resus room like that?

It isn't looking good for Emma. I'm still none the wiser about Lucy tho.

Blondeshavemorefun · 01/01/2015 22:18

Just watching now. Havnt read any comments

But love the way they show all the cast on their phones after Emma's phone call

Did anyone else think the bit where she asked the cafe man to stay open in case her acquaintance was hungry was v weird?

ChuckNovice · 01/01/2015 22:24

Yeah, it was a bit odd but I think she was worried about being on her own with said murderer so she wanted more people around.

SingRingPing · 01/01/2015 22:25

I think it was so that she wouldn't be alone in the park in case they tried something, 306

306235388 · 01/01/2015 22:26

Hmmmm I thought that but then still thought why bother putting it in?

okeydonkey · 01/01/2015 22:28

Yes306 maybe that could imply someone. Denise is skint? Lost her job, could she be hungry

qazxc · 01/01/2015 22:30

Charlie did seem rather unconcerned about the welfare of his wife and child during that accident.
DP wonders if Emma was talking to herself in the park (like in fight club) and that she is somehow doolally and killed Lucy.
