Hilarious! The writers are really expecting a lot of suspension of disbelief. Johnny leaving was rubbish. Kat and alfie story is rubbish. They have had this homeless story with them. Why didn't she go to Charlies? She spends enough time there anyway. Alfie needs to be killed off.

I am sock to the back teeth with the Lucy story. Ee are forgetting that they are not writing Broadchurch ffs. Im sick of the pinning it on someone new each fortnight. We've had weird northern guy, billy, ian, max, abbi, pete, lauren. Its beyond tiresome.

And I'm also really fed up of the carters and their ever expanding family. I really like linda and she is a fantastic actress. But I'm getting sick of seeing shirley stood around doing the narrow eyes pursed lip look. Shes been in it years and now we have to believe she's had this huge loving complex family all along. Rubbish.

And don't get me started on emma!

Kat has Charlie, a daughter, and three sisters she could stay with/borrow money from. Her homeless story is so far-fetched it's ridiculous as was Johnny going the way he did last night.

It's on again tonight as well as the big one tomorrow and again on Boxing Day.

So Johny is gonna ride that scooter all the way to Italy in the middle of winter .. Ha ha !

How many times have we heard Max say "I missed ya" and to how many different women lol!

New to this thread but big eastenders fan.
Alfie really annoys me, so sick of his 'whipped dog' look, it's so boring now.
Didn't charlie send some money for them to join him in Tenerife and that's where big mo is at moment.
Will also be glad when 'who killed lucy' is finally resolved and hope Emma leaves soon, I read somewhere another character is being killed off in new year so maybe it will be her.
Looking forward to tomorrow's episode, let's face it, if it's not doom and gloom on Albert square at Christmas it wouldn't be eastenders

I haven't seen tonight's yet, pre-cooking dinner tonight, so I can do as little as possible some chance with 3 DC tomorrow. It will be a fantastic misery fest - explosive stuff

Janes singing was awful! It was the kind of thing where if you were there you would be cringing for them.

I felt sad for Denise tonight.

Hope tomorrow's episode is good. They've already revealed all the main storylines. I hope there's some gasp inducing suprises too.

surely they'll be some sort of DNA test on the baby and the test will reveal that Mick and Dean are in fact brothers… might that happen? Or something like it?

I wouldn't be surprised if when it comes out about the rape a few people don't start doubting Linda in a 'Dean isn't a rapist' sort of way.

second the dna test thing revealing the brothers. I really hope no doubt is ever cast on Linda, I imagine there will be withlDean making out it was consensual backed up by that 'text'

The dean/mick/Shirley thing was no denouement as we've kniw about it for MONTHS. Just about maintaining interest in the who killed Lucy thing.

What a crap episode and boring too. I expected more explosive scenes. Everything major happened in the last 3 mins and then the "duff duff" went off .
Not impressed.

I know Dean is Shirley's son but I can't believe as a woman and also as a woman who has the brunt of Dean's violence would just straight up believe him without question. I know she doesn't like Linda but that's just ridiculous that upset me almost the most tonight as silly as it sounds.

Kellie acted really well tonight and Danny showed a lot more depth as a character which I liked.

I think Dean should be glad it's Mick that's beating him not Lee as he knows how to use a gun...

But a very dramatic episode tonight that nearly had me in tears. I hope everyone believes Linda and that Dean doesn't get killed but either goes to prison or is exiled as I don't want to have his smug face around the square either, although of course Mick or Lee wouldn't allow it.

I wouldn't want it to be 'explosive' the whole episode as you'd lose interest. It's like watching a horror film with just death after death with no depth of plot iyswim.

whats Deans history, I only really started watching it again a few months ago?

Dean went into prison about 8 years ago for fraud that was really down to Chelsea Denise's daughter.

Dean attacked his Mum before cant remember when not long after he came out of prison I think? He left her lying crumpled on the floor anyway.
