Oh I teared up. Thought that was done well with Stacey realising as she'd been through it too.

Mrsjayy · 22/12/2014 23:45

Was very touching poor linda.

I'm not a big fan of EE, but thought the final scene tonight, involving Stacey and Linda, was very well acted.

I used to love watching it when Kat and Alfie first got together, years ago, but am sick of all the silly and depressing storylines involving them.

The upcoming Christmas episodes look interesting... wonder how Linda's mother will react? She's a fiery woman and the actress who plays her is great.

Harverinalovesxmassandwiches · 23/12/2014 02:02

So glad that Linda has told someone. Tonight's episode was very sad Hmm

I can't wait for the Xmas day episode now!

SuchSweetSorrow · 23/12/2014 07:16

I thought it was so well done last night, fantastic acting from Stacey and Linda.

I am looking forward to seeing Dean getting his smug face punched

Southeastdweller · 23/12/2014 08:01

I agree last night's last scene was well done by the writer and actresses.

Can't wait until Thursday when Mick finds out and hopefully when the dust settles he won't doubt Linda. I'm thinking Dean will leave but I've read nothing about the actor leaving. I wonder whose side Shirley will take?

Mrsjayy · 23/12/2014 08:33

I wonder if they call the police I doubt iit but I dont want dean to get away with it.

Mrsjayy · 23/12/2014 08:35

It is on at 9 on Thursday Danny Dyer was on Graham Norton saying it is going to be quite a dark episode just what you want for Christmas night misery Grin

Blondeshavemorefun · 23/12/2014 15:14

Yes Shirley will be spilt between her two sons ........

I actually think they've portrayed the whole thing really well.
Dean comes across really nice now with Stacey and you want him not to have done it. I think that's really realistic as I unfortunately have experience of that where someone comes across as lovely but actually is a rapist and I think it all helps get rid of the strange man in alley perception.

bleedingheart · 23/12/2014 19:59

Is Emma a terrible police officer?
Or is she meant to be pretending to be a crap copper?
Or is the actress just terrible?

Southeastdweller · 23/12/2014 20:04

Yes, that's one thing about the rape story I think is really interesting - wanting Dean not to have done it, even though you know he did. And I do have some sympathy for him for Shirley leaving him and what he alluded to had happened to to him whilst he was in prison. Of course I want to see him get charged and convicted for the rape, though.

Mrsjayy · 23/12/2014 20:28

That's the thing rapist s dont wear a mask and hover in door ways Dean thought he had the right to do what he did to Linda because he fancied her creepy or what

Mrsjayy · 23/12/2014 20:31

Emma is just gawd awful she was rubbish from the start I think she is undercover now to keep her job I don't think she is going to see the new year. So thats Johnny left now with an Italian boyfriend on his scooter into the night

Southeastdweller · 23/12/2014 21:32

I'd be happy if Emma gets killed off. We know from one of the recent trailers that she knows who killed Lucy Hmm, or think she does. Maybe the killer will claim their second victim with her.

CrapBag · 23/12/2014 21:49

I did the believe it when posters were saying Abi killed Lucy but last couple episodes have made me wonder....

Linda and Stacey have been great. I get what you mean about Dean, he was doing a great job with Lily and he and Stacey seemed suited, but the he did that awful thing and it's like 2 different people.

I know it's going to be depressing but I am really looking forward to the Christmas day episode.

Harverinalovesxmassandwiches · 23/12/2014 23:22

Yeah I have mixed emotions about Dean too so they are portraying it well.

I think that Shirley's loyalty has always been with Mick but she has never had a good relationship with Linda so not sure how that one will end. Maybe she will be there for dean when no one else is? Redeem herself in his eyes? But then she will also need to be dealing with Mick who will find out the truth about her on Xmas day too.

Wonder how it will come out? Will it be her shouting "mick, no you can't do that to your brother" when he goes after dean?

I just hope that Linda and mick are ok. I would hate for him not to believe her or to go against her in some way. I really like them.

I have to admit I shed a tear tonight when johnny left. Poor nancy Hmm

I am also looking forward to Xmas. Day!

cogitosum · 24/12/2014 01:42

Wow just watched tonight's. Don't feel sorry for dean anymore!

Didn't find Johnny leaving believable at all.

Mrsjayy · 24/12/2014 06:37

Johnnys leaving was daft

Mrsjayy · 24/12/2014 06:38

Oh it is on tonight just incase anybody doesn't know

Fakebook · 24/12/2014 08:07

God I hated Dean in last nights episode. Such a Jekyll and Hyde character. I really hope he gets what he deserves.

Thanks Mrsjayy, didn't realise it was on tonight.

waithorse · 24/12/2014 08:20

Nobody announces that they are leaving to go traveling for a year, on the day they are planning to go, the day before Christmas eve. Ridiculous.Hmm
