I wonder if Pam took part in an assisted suicide and is worried about being 'found out.' It sounds like it was some time ago rather than the body that was in the coffin.
Pam seems genuinely lovely and I want her to be a sympathetic character.

I cannot STAND the character of Emma, dippy, drippy, bore. As if she'd even investigate Pam. She doesn't do any police work any more does she? Just flounces and frowns a lot.
I don't think she's got enough gumption for Max, he's attracted to feistiness! (am I too involved in this?).
If the plane hits, please take out...

I must have missed something too Cyclops because the estate agent had been there every day beforehand. I used to work in lettings and we didn't judge what properties were available to rent by whether they still had the signs in the garden. We had slightly more sophisticated systems.

I don't like to be negative, but Monday's episode so boring and depressing I fast-forwarded nearly all the way through - first time. Tired, also, as someone said, of the constant pointless 'mystery' issues ... the latest being Pam.

I can't even think about the Linda-pregnancy storyline thing - its just too ghoulish.

You can't take out Roxy, BleedingHeart, I want to finally see if her botoxed moon-face finally morphs into a helium balloon .

It's really annoyed me that we didn't find out what Pam's done, another thing they are going to drag out for months probably! I liked Pam she seemed the most normal person on the square but obviously this is eastenders and every woman must be a murderer.

Bleugh. Another crap episode. They're stringing out the Pam killing story now. And Billy's mysteriously disappeared . Wouldn't he want to ask them who she killed? Why she killed? You don't just run off when someone tells you they've killed someone

Oh ffs I'm off. Ee can do one. Seriously is shit at the moment. Writers we do not want another shit mystery that we are not interested in. Not until you tie up the thirteen other unsolved mysteries you've already started. We do not want another woman/mother murdereress. We do not want to see ronnie and another traumatic baby storyline. We do not want dot being mugged of again. We do not want to see Stacey shag another married man. I'm giving it a swerve until after Xmas.

And now another flipping mystery has started with Stan acting strangely (no, I didn't read the spoiler above!).

I agree Jessie Wallace getting worse. I remember back to her early days with the Harry/Zoe storyline and she was totally different. It's either that or the new writers can't write her character well after being off for 6 years. I miss her one liners.

I really like Linda. I didn't warm to her at first but she's one of my faves now. Hope they don't ruin her character.

Anyway, I can't believe they are stringing Pam's secret out now as well! Bloody hell! About time Alfie got found out though- I used to be a big Alfie fan, I can't believe how much I am beginning to dislike him

After Billy's reaction there's no way pam directly killed her own child. He acted shocked but not completely horrified.

Where generally people would be shocked and horrified at any kind of involvement in another person's death, murder seems to be relatively normal on the square so I'm thinking a hit and run or something like that. Something that's wrong and she'd get done for but not something that doesn't happen as an accident or something iyswim.

Maybe Pam killed Lucy...

At least, I THINK Lucy was killed...it was so long ago now, I hardly remember!

I'm also annoyed that Pam's secret's being spun out. She mentioned the grandson again last night and I think he'll visit them for Christmas which is when it'll all come out. I've remembered that we haven't known so far how her son died.

That's what I did. I said in a post up there that I had left a few lines, if for some reason when I hit post the spaces were removed, not really much I can do about it.
