Maybe pam feels guilt about the death and said she killed when infact she didn't we will find out tonight, fats had a rubbish life his dad was an alcoholic and left them I think he just sees Dot as a surrogate grandma who looked after him I am fearing for poor arthur if he comes across Nick

yes i don't think she killed him literally, perhaps figuratively, or perhaps turned off his life support?

She can't have killed him in the figurative sense because then she wouldn't be worried about the police.

Maybe died at home or something this is cheery for so early in the morning

oh yes,hmm, then I think she killed him , buried him as Nick Cotton, and is still claiming his benefits

I hope they explain tonight can't be doing with another mystery

She said "it's starting again" which implies their fear of someone finding out has been an issue previously. They have said that their only child died but they have a grandson, therefore their son can't have died as a child. Also, she said "I killed someone" & in the context of the conversation, surely she'd have said "him"/"my son". My guess is that their son's death was recorded as natural or suicide but she held someone responsible. There's been no mention of the grandson's mother, has there?

I think the bear just reminds her of when her little boy was young & innocent & she could protect him. She didn't have anything to do with Nick's fake death but it's possible that Les told her he'd get rid of the body of the man she killed. Would be rather convenient timing though... & her son must've died a few years ago - Les said "it's getting to that time of year again".

Yes I agree, I bet it turns out she hasn't killed in cold blood, but maybe did something by accident and child died? Left child in the bath or spilled hot oil over them, or something like that. And how did Billy become their "only friend since moving here"?! What about Sonia and that market trader in the wheelchair? She knew Pam long before from the previous market.

When did billy become an undertaker I mustve missed it happen ing. What was les in before or is he 1 of those actors thats in everything.

Yes I think he's been in quite a few things Mrsjayy. I also thought that when they said Billy was their only friend there

Mrsjayy, I think billy begged Les for a job, and I remember someone giving Les the popular EE line (where jobs are concerned): "go on, give him a chance"...and suddenly he was hired. If only life was that simple!

Was he on a coffin carrying trial

Was it ever really defined what Billy was going to do? Pam convinced Les to give him the job & I seem to remember his first day may have involved going to pick up a dead body... I think something went wrong because I think I remember Les consoling him & saying that things like that do happen sometimes. Billy was surprised to be given the job after the first day. My favourite line was Les saying "Well, he's got the face for it"!
