Yes, I get what you're saying CleanMachine. EE feels very disconnected at the moment, the plots, families, everything really feels rather amateurish and dreary and indecipherable, basically. I'm not even the slightest bit curious about the Pam story, something about a child and more death and so forth ...

Some stories seem to have been going on for ever: Who killed Lucy obviously. But also Roxy and the Latvian on-off relationship, Branning and the policewoman's relationship. Stories are just suspended in air sometimes (where's the Latvian's wife and daughter gone again?). Denise has just disappeared off the face of the earth. Alfie and Kat Moon just ridiculous storyline, though at least keep the make-up department busy, and agree, the acting's nothing great.

Sorry to sound negative. On the positive side, I am getting more done at home in the evening as my schedule is much more flexible. Still EE always get their act together in time for xmas, so, fingers crossed some real drama over the chipolatas!

I thought that the whole point of dragging out the Lucy farce murder, was that 1] Ian was supposed to fall completely apart (he did a little, but now I think sometimes that if someone mentioned her name, he would actually say 'who?") & 2] we would have many Lucy centric revelations & her friends & family will realise that she wasn't the person they thought they knew...

I'm finding the linda story difficult to watch and I feel they have dragged it out for too long now. She is very clear to mick I can't imagine she would keep it front him.

Also what about Shirley shooting Phil? Did the police find out or has it been forgotten too?

Yeah I remember Shabnam walking into the B&B and seeing mess and Denise not coping well. Instead of doing the normal thing and help her clean up, she phoned up and declined a job offer from a pharmacy (outside Albert square no doubt). Maybe all her shifts at the Minute Mart have saved Denise from a breakdown and turning to drink.

What was the story behind Shabnam giving Tam the £10000 for his birthday ? I can't remember if that if that was explained probably because EE is so dull now, I forward most of it.

I think there's supposed to be a big plot twist coming up just before Christmas which will eliminate a whole load of suspects for Lucy's murder.
