I really hope though that they focus more on Edith and less on Mary and her boring, all look the samey, suitors.

Wtf? I can't make head nor tail of Mary's storyline. The scene in the marquee where everybody met each other was head spinning. Who are these men? I can't work it all out.

Bates and Anna presumably sleep in the same bed yet save all their intimate discussions for their workplace.

He children who get taken from their parents in Downton never seem to react. Remember in series 2 or 3 that maid (Ethel?) who gave her boy up? He didn't even care some horrible grumpy man and woman were taking him away, and again here with Edith's daughter, absolutely no reaction. Did like that look the girl gave Edith at the end of the scene though, like, errr, what the hell is this all about.

Surely the thing with Isis means lord G will be so upset when she dies that lady G will have to comfort him and they will be back to being 'heppy' again.

I look forward to DA all week and am vaguely disappointed each time! So dreary sometimes...
