Last night of the Proms

Who else is settling in for the evening? Missed most of the first half due to Doctor who but we have lots of cheese and biscuits and wine and hooray!

DS watched the Cbeebies proms on CBeebies. He seemed to enjoy it all. Especially Robert the Robot trying to find sounds.

This is becoming an annual get together. I wonder what Britain will look like this time next year? Funny old world ain't it?

That was wonderful. Whatever happens next week (I'm Scottish) my house will be celebrating the Proms.

I went at Auld Lang Syne too. I usually go during Rule Brittania though, so not too bad this year!

Ds didn't want to go to bed so brought his duvet down & snuggled down to listen. He fell asleep. Just exhausted myself carrying him upstairs.

So why were we only getting live feed from London and Belfast, not Glasgow and Cardiff (or Swansea?)?

I wondered about that too. They were available online, not the same at all.

It was Swansea.

They were on the red button in England, though I would hope that in Wales and Scotland they were on mainstream TV.
