Who else is settling in for the evening? Missed most of the first half due to Doctor who but we have lots of cheese and biscuits and wine and hooray!

That was beautiful.
I echo the sentiment, please don't go Scotland.

DS watched the Cbeebies proms on CBeebies. He seemed to enjoy it all. Especially Robert the Robot trying to find sounds.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 13/09/2014 22:40

Lesleythegiraffe · 13/09/2014 22:41

This is becoming an annual get together. I wonder what Britain will look like this time next year? Funny old world ain't it?

WildThong · 13/09/2014 22:44

That was wonderful. Whatever happens next week (I'm Scottish) my house will be celebrating the Proms.

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 13/09/2014 22:44

I went at Auld Lang Syne too. I usually go during Rule Brittania though, so not too bad this year!

See you next year Smile

alemci · 13/09/2014 22:44

usually the film crew go to Wales or NI to hear their National Anthem or did I miss that bit.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 13/09/2014 22:44

It certainly is Hester. It certainly is. Who knows what the next year will bring.

Ds didn't want to go to bed so brought his duvet down & snuggled down to listen. He fell asleep. Just exhausted myself carrying him upstairs.

edamsavestheday · 13/09/2014 22:47

So why were we only getting live feed from London and Belfast, not Glasgow and Cardiff (or Swansea?)?

WildThong · 13/09/2014 22:49

I wondered about that too. They were available online, not the same at all.

HesterShaw · 13/09/2014 22:52

It was Swansea.

They were on the red button in England, though I would hope that in Wales and Scotland they were on mainstream TV.

edamsavestheday · 13/09/2014 23:39

I wondered whether the BBC were worried about protest but didn't want to be too obvious by leaving Glasgow out and all the rest in

HesterShaw · 14/09/2014 12:05

Only NI and Hyde Park were left in. Wales and Scotland were "left out".
