Just watched Proms in the park from Glasgow as I have a friend in the orchestra - it was ok but none of my really favourite music in it.

Was able to see sakari Oramo many tunes conducting the cbso when I worked at symphony hall. Great conductor.

I liked the bottom of Katherine Jenkin's dress, but the top looked weirdly gappy. Quite an impressive feat with the amount of cleavage she normally has!

Not sure what it is, dd has been explaining that the strange tone is cos she is playing very high notes on the g string. Not sure if that's really the case.
