Who else is settling in for the evening? Missed most of the first half due to Doctor who but we have lots of cheese and biscuits and wine and hooray!

Yes the musicians sometimes get nervous... Especially if you've a big solo. There's always a certain amount of adrenalin that carries you through ... Some gigs are more routine than others... Live gigs up the pressure a bit!!

I used to work regularly as a musician for two of the orchestras tonight for about 11 years (before I had kids and driving up and down motorways and going out at 5pm made parenting and being a pro musician rather impractical) xx
