BIL is an ex-marine and he's told me some of the stuff they got up to

next week looks tough going.

Random fact for you, BIL told me that the Commando dagger is a certain length (can't remember exactly what!) because it's the right length to be able to stab someone in the heart if you insert the blade next to their collar bone. He may have been pulling my leg though!

For the poster wanting to know why they're called 'Bootnecks', in their early days (1700-1800's) the marines had to wear a leather stock or neck piece as part of their uniform.

Can't have done the bloke cooking pneumonia too much good spending a day falling into cold water ...

I have to pause the programme every few minutes as I have so many questions for DP (former Marine).
It's such an interesting show and I find myself really willing the lads on who are struggling.
I hope that Scottish PTI is in every episode
