I'd rather we called Sock.

Kvitova gets my support, the DS's like Bouchard because she's so pretty. I'm more excited about today than tomorrow.

Hello all! Just checking in before DD wakes up from her nap. Missed nearly everything yesterday...might see if I can find the Bahrami match online, it sounds like it was as hilarious as they always are!

I like both Bouchard and Kvitova, just hope it's a good match. Have a feeling Kvitova will have more mental strength, this year at least.

The crowd are quiet. Again.

I think Bouchard looks a bit nervous.

Kvitova seems in a hurry- maybe she can sense the rain coming.

Don't think this is going quite how Genie hoped.

I haven't seen much of either of them but Bouchard seems a bit up herself.

I was reading about Bouchard's falling out with Laura Robson. They were very close, almost grew up together, and are now barely on speaking terms.

I've decided I'm going for Kvitova. She's come out fighting.

Fid- I think she is just very, very, confident. But there is afine line between that and arrogance, and I hope she has the riht people around her to make sure she doesn't cross it.

Drama- I am not keen on Robson, I think there may have been a bit of jealousy at play. Bouchard is fulfilling her potential, whilst Robson clearly hasn't. Sam Smith last year alluded to Laura being difficult to work with.

I didn't know that, I just thought from the pre-match soft-focus interviews that she came across as "I'm so special". Suppose it's always a personal thing, I just didn't take to her.

Ok. Unless Genie finds picks up her game, this could be one of those really dull finals.
