Hope no one minds - was just about to post on the thread but it was full.

What DVD? I missed that. Has no one watched it yet then or was it a red herring?

Totally agree about Todd .He is vile and why did Marcus let him talk to Maria like that?

Obviously Beth's surgery is going to go wrong.I hope she's not leaving too.

mileysorearse · 13/05/2014 12:27

I have a half-formed theory on who kills Tina, which may be bonkers: I think it's got something to do with the stolen goods and Tracey driving them and running Tina over. Could be Rob driving though as I reckon will rumble Tina and Peter soon. I hope it's Tracey as it would mean that her contract was renewed for court scenes and that she eventually leaves.

JeanSeberg · 13/05/2014 12:40

I love it how you've put so much thought into that miley. Grin

squoosh · 13/05/2014 12:44

I'm starting to find Rob quite attractive Blush

JeanSeberg · 13/05/2014 12:56

I would too squoosh.

Nancy66 · 13/05/2014 12:59

noooo - he has weirdly short legs

JeanSeberg · 13/05/2014 13:05

But you wouldn't be able to tell when you're lying down, right squoosh?

eddiemairswife · 13/05/2014 13:07

I think miley has been looking at Digital Spy.

squoosh · 13/05/2014 13:10

I hadn't noticed his legs, but will keep an eye out! I think he has a lovely grin and a nice dirty voice.

Nancy66 · 13/05/2014 13:13

I'd love it to be Simon that kills her. always thought there was something demonic about that child.

But isn't fact Chris Gascoigne (Peter Barlow) leaving a bit of a give away?

mileysorearse · 13/05/2014 14:27

Haven't seen Digital Spy this week but I saw something in a magazine about Tony, a van and stolen goods. It didn't mention Tina at all but it does seem to be shaping up to have something to do with Rob/Tracey. Does Digital Spy say that she is run over then?

Is Peter leaving for good? I thought it was going to be a break so perhaps it's a red herring and he goes off for a long spell in rehab.

Here is a pic of Rob as a werewolf from the seminal [snurk] classic Strippers vs Werewolves

That looks nothing like him!

I wish Peter would step up and start to care about having a baby. Hate pathetic childish men.

JodieGarberJacob · 13/05/2014 15:40

Love the concept of the 4-minute episode! I agree you can whizz through most of it when it's Sophie, Todd, Nick or Andrea. In fact sometimes I actually miss Gail and Kylie and I never thought I'd ever say that.
Did you see Maria's horrible little smile after Ty punched Todd? She really is turning into an unlikeable character.

mileysorearse · 13/05/2014 15:40

Here he is before he turns (with Johnnie Allen from EE)

Better!

I saw Maria's smile- ugh!

MargotThreadbetter · 15/05/2014 22:34

Women are being portrayed so badly on Corrie at the moment, that alongside crap story lines is making me switch off.
There's no 'sisterhood' and everyone is desperate for a man (especially if he's with someone else).
Bring back good, strong, funny female characters (like Bet and Blanche!)
Loved Blanche Grin

JodieGarberJacob · 15/05/2014 22:39

The Gail/Katie simultaneous job-mugging was quite humorous though. I wonder how they're going to resolve that? Job-share?

Shoopshoop2 · 15/05/2014 22:45

So,Tony doesn't like Tina...

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 15/05/2014 23:54

And he's a disposable character.

ProfYaffle · 16/05/2014 06:23

I was disappointed how the Prices worked out, there was a lot of potential having 3 generations of women living together, could've been an amazing set of characters but instead they just dissipated.

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 16/05/2014 07:27

Me too, they really jarred at first but had come into their own by the end. Unfortunately the scriptwriters backed them into an impossible corner by having them as temps in the Bistro. The scriptwriters should have had Nick leaving the bistro and setting up the gym instead of Dev, taking Gail with him, leaving Leanne and Stella to run the bistro. Gloria stealing Dennis was a clumsy plot too.

hildasmuriel · 16/05/2014 09:17

Was very glad to see the back of Stella but thought the character of Gloria was so wasted as Sue Johnstone is a great actress and she could have been brilliant. I agree they need a matriarch along the lines of Blanche. The. Street is founded on strong women and whilst Sally, Gail and Deidrie (and Eileen again now they have got rid of the fireman) have great moments they need an older woman also to fulfill the role of just being able to say it like it is (or at least as she sees it!)

DesperateHousewife21 · 16/05/2014 11:14

I liked Stella and agree she should have stayed in the bistro.

Tina's tan is so bizarre, its not orange or a nice golden shade its kind of dirty mud.

sonlypuppyfat · 16/05/2014 18:20

Who is writing this just lately school kids could do better.

squoosh · 16/05/2014 19:57

Bog off Fiz.
