Hope no one minds - was just about to post on the thread but it was full.

What DVD? I missed that. Has no one watched it yet then or was it a red herring?

Rita's big wail at the end was classic . I'm so utterly fed up of Nick and Leanne.

DesperateHousewife21 · 02/06/2014 10:21

I laughed at Rita's wail Blush

It would be a lot more interesting/ dramatic if we didnt know whether Tina was going to live/ die. I think id feel a bit more emotional when she actually does die but because I know its coming I think ill just be like ah there we go.

ajandjjmum · 02/06/2014 10:45

Surely Tina/Steph's flat is a crime scene? Katie wouldn't be allowed to use it.

I thought the writer's had been on this thread too when I heard Tracey's comment! Grin

ajandjjmum · 02/06/2014 10:46

Don't shoot me punctuation police!!!

squoosh · 02/06/2014 10:50

Nick's 'acting' offends every fibre of my being! I've seen better acting at a primary school nativity play.

DesperateHousewife21 · 02/06/2014 14:31

I hate Nick.

MissBattleaxe · 02/06/2014 15:16

I don't understand why Katy is moving out just because Anna did something she didn't want to do and obviously regrets.

Poor Anna- hardly her fault! I hope Phelan comes back just long enough to get his come uppance. I hate it when Corrie strings out come uppances.

cheekygeeky · 02/06/2014 15:39

Oh piss off nick and leanne.

qazxc · 02/06/2014 21:04

God all cheating men act like petulant toddlers, and it is never their fault.
Nick has so far blamed David, his mum, Leanne (even though they were separated) and Cal for the predicament he is in. YOU SHAGGED YOUR SISTER IN LAW!
Similarly Peter is blaming everyone and going down the self pitying, whinny route. The next step is getting narky because Carla won't talk to him/forgive him.

I love Roy, for someone who is so naturally shy and reserved, he argues exceptionally well when confronted.

RoseHoney · 02/06/2014 21:28

Okay, I cried, a lot!
I half blame hormones and half blame my total woman crush on Michelle Keegan but it was all pretty boring really wasn't it?!
They dragged this out for months But the last few episodes have been pretty rubbish! I expected a lot more drama/a good twist.

As for Nick, he drives me mental too!

I was shocked by Kylie today aswell, she's normally really jealous of Tina!

JodieGarberJacob · 02/06/2014 21:37

I was quite tearful as well. I missed the beginning so I don't know why Rob was in the hospital. Was it to make sure she didn't blab?

TillyButton · 02/06/2014 21:50

I sobbed too Sad The scene with Rita and David was very moving

RoseHoney · 02/06/2014 22:03

Rob was there to see how Tina was because Carla wanted to know but the hospital wouldn't tell her.

JodieGarberJacob · 02/06/2014 22:17

Ah, ok.

Pyjamaramadrama · 02/06/2014 22:46

I loved tonight's episodes.

Roy was wonderful, I got tears in my eyes with the Tina scenes, surprised Gail wasn't there though.

Nick is doing my head in it's all his own fault and if he'd just shave his beard off he'd be ok.

theliverpoolone · 02/06/2014 23:58

Sallys dress was nice (although a bit 'work-y' for a romantic night in!). Anyone know where its from?

Nancy66 · 03/06/2014 06:59

god that doctor was a shit actor wasn't he?

I imagine a lot of his patients slip into comas never to recover.

JodieGarberJacob · 03/06/2014 08:14

Agree about the doctor! More of a mafia type or chef in a sleazy restaurant. Surprised Rita didn't mention Tommy when she said they ought to contact Tina's mum.
Anna's perked up for some reason seeing as her whole life is in shreds.

Nancy66 · 03/06/2014 09:02

anyone else getting a whiff of an Anna/Tim romance ?

cheekygeeky · 03/06/2014 09:24

Backtracking a little but did anyone else think Tina was having an orgasm when she woke up from her fall on the cobbles and rob heard her moans and groans and went back to see if she was alive?

Me and dh were howling with laughter at her acting.

ajandjjmum · 03/06/2014 09:45

I wondered Nancy.

TulipOHare · 03/06/2014 09:55

I'm sure I've seen that actor playing the consultant in something else. Was driving me mad trying to think where.

Did anyone bother to contact Tina's mum, I wonder? I know Rita (eventually) mentioned it, but nothing else came of it. I realise they were estranged but even so, surely someone would think to let her know her daughter was at death's door Hmm

Ah well. RIP Tina. You were a good character, at first, anyway!

hildasmuriel · 03/06/2014 10:07

Already irritated by the thought of a Tim / Anna romance, please no. More imagination to think how Anna would deal with her problems, an affair would just be lazy writing I think.

I quite like Tim and Sally now, he is a foil to her snobbery.

hildasmuriel · 03/06/2014 10:08

Yes to Tina's Mum and I thought Gail, her step mum, might be more involved.
