Melissa George. She had a baby IRL and was more pregnant IRL than her character was in the earlier episodes, so my guess is "on real life maternity leave".

Hooray! It's Good Wife night. DH and I were discussing it at the weekend & both agreed we are not missing Will at all. DH is really impressed with the way Diane's storyline is shaping up.

I think Christine Baranski's DH just died in real life, very sad.

I still don't get the Cary/Kalinda relationship. Are they both just in it for the sex? Her clothes always remind me of the flight crew outfits in StarTrek!

Peter's such a twat! Alicia DOESN'T sleep with Finn Polmar although I would if it were me so he retaliates by (probably) sleeping with the intern?!? God, he's an arse. She should just divorce him. Fuck his career. And I appreciate that he's professionally useful to her too, but she can manage perfectly well without him; and the 'downs' of being married to him aren't really worth the 'perks', are they?

Is it just me or does everyone think the good wife people are RUBBISH at sex scenes?!

I hadn't really thought about the sex scenes, but what I really don't like is the habit they have of starting episodes with some pounding music or someone doing computer things, edited together in a fast-moving trying-to-be-cool way. It's like watching uncles dancing at a wedding disco. Toe-curling. Wish they'd stick to the stuff they're good at!

Yes totally agree! And you can't hear the dialogue. Maybe we're getting old...

Well, I can't deny that . But I think it's more that they're trying NOT to be old and to make the show cool, which is weird when the rest of the show just isn't in the least bit cool or bothered about the youth vote. Those short sequences always seem so jarring.

I like those starter sequences, my favourite was the one with the chicken music

I enjoyed that. Surely Alicia wouldn't run for States attorney? Struggled to keep up, it was so fast moving.
