Thought I'd start this as I'm not enjoying the other thread now with so many people on it who have seen US episodes.

It was irritating Undercurrant

DustBunnyFarmer · 20/04/2014 14:58

Agreed on the annoyance. Even the judicial efficiency argument was Hmm as all that to-ing and fro-ing would surely have given grounds for an appeal.

SlatternMissesherGrumpyCat · 21/04/2014 00:23

I am a huge fan and haven't missed an episode - but for the life of me I can't remember if Cary and Kalinda have actually got it on at any stage. I remember serious flirting last series but can't recall if it ever went anywhere. Can anyone remind me?

northender · 21/04/2014 08:41

Interesting reading all the comments. In this weeks ep I definitely enjoyed the Peter related storyline more than the courtroom one and felt that things are building up nicely. BUT, the legal side seems so miserable in a way, Diane and Wills relationship has lost its spark, Cary and Alicia isn't that interesting yet and then the ongoing battle between the two teams. The less we see of the dreadful Irish lawyer and Kalinda's lust interest, the better. I remember feeling the same at about this stage last series but then it really picked up.

I'm sure Kalinda and Cary did get it together but maybe around series 2 or 3.

Are Alicia and Diane the only key cast members that Kalinda hasn't slept with?

AntoinetteCosway · 21/04/2014 12:15

I can't stand the Irish guy. Either DO something interesting with him or get rid! The whole 'hanging round being mysterious' thing is infuriatingly dull. I'm also getting bored of the tension between Will and Alicia being all negative. Alicia is most interesting as a protagonist when we're seeing her relationships develop, whether with colleagues, clients, Peter, kids-whatever. They're all stalled at the moment and we just seem to be seeing the same anger on repeat. I'm a bit disappointed with this series so far to be honest.

chanie44 · 22/04/2014 19:42

They seem to get if characters really quickly, they seem to hint that it will build up to something big and then it just fizzles out. Like kalindas ex husband, that other investigator that kalinda didn't like and David lees niece (Alicia didn't think she was any good, she won the case and went off to have babies).

Wonder if that's going to happen to Irish lawyer and Marilyn?

DustBunnyFarmer · 24/04/2014 21:19

Jack Davenport! With an American accent!

AuntFidgetWonkhamStrongNajork · 25/04/2014 11:43

His accent was better than Alan Cumming's this week!

Undercurrent · 25/04/2014 20:13

Kalinda used to be an 'interesting and mysterious' character - now I just find her bloody annoying.
Ironically, the most likeable character is Lamond Bishop.

northender · 26/04/2014 08:08

Just couldn't see Jack Davenport as an American. He's still Miles from This Life to me!
Agree, can't stand Kalinda any more

onedev · 26/04/2014 10:59

Lemond Bishop was being represented by Florrick, Argos and LG at the beginning of the case but then just Florrick, Argos later on. Did he drop the others? I'm not sure it was mentioned.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 27/04/2014 14:25

BumPotato · 27/04/2014 17:27

I've cheated and now up to episode 18 on Delishows Sad

onedev · 01/05/2014 23:21

Sorry Dame, I watched when I'd had some wine, so can't remember!

Thought tonight's was good - made me wish she'd stuck with Will.

Don't get that guy who's going after Peter??

Love Elspeth Grin

BumPotato · 01/05/2014 23:41

I watched tonight's again. I'm going to watch next weeks again too.

northender · 02/05/2014 06:07

Elspeth is great, but yes good episode generally. The black van man seems like he has a personal vendetta against Peter.

PeppermintInfusion · 06/05/2014 16:13

Cary and kalinda had a fling back in series 1/2 I think.

Think the point of David Lee's niece was to remind Alicia of what she did before, giving it all up to be Peter's wife.

TensionWheelsCoolHeels · 08/05/2014 21:03

Is this it then? I've avoided the spoilers so far, I think this is the one!Grin

TensionWheelsCoolHeels · 08/05/2014 21:30

Hmm thinking maybe not...

TSSDNCOP · 08/05/2014 21:34

Any thoughts so far?

The VO intro says this is the one.

I'm certain one of the leads is going to be in big shit.

Maybe Will jailed?

TensionWheelsCoolHeels · 08/05/2014 21:44

It's not 'explosive' yet. I'm thinking maybe the young bloke on trial is about to top himself just before kalinda gets the reasonable doubt he needed.

TSSDNCOP · 08/05/2014 21:50

Bailiffs gun?
