how do you solve a problem like maria

does anyone know why emily, the gobby one, no longer is appearing in the final 10 line up for the live shows? she seems to have been replaced by siobhan, the gorgeous one who blew it by having a cold all week. I liked emily!

What a load of crap was right for Abi to go but not the green goddess!!

Saw Siobhan of the Eyebrows give ALW a 'Of course I will get on my knees for you after the show Sir' look just before he had to decide!!

Utter Utter Pap - why are we made to watch 6 weeks of this and then ALW thinks with his dick rather than his genius of a brain????

Thgik Helena should win now - Connie is too twee and Siobahn sounds like an Essex irl reading from a script when she is trying to act - and thats coming from an Essex girl so I should know!!!

No, I disagree - I think Siobhan's wooden as a wooden thing but her voice is beautiful - much purer than Aiofe's.

I think it's going to be Connie though (changed my mind in the last half an hour!)

and another thing - Aoife sings in an Irish accent - don't know why that's OK when Simona's Romaninan rendered her unsuitable. Personally I couldn't believe in an irish maria.

Thought Helena sang and came across the best tonight. Remember its not often the most talented/obvious choice wins these reality shows - Bonnie Langford etc, so next week should be interesting.
Unicorn where did you hear about celeb strictly? and when?

Was it me or did ALW get the remaining 4's names wrong again - he mentioned Abi so must have missed one out.!

Kissing bit was hysterical, especially as JB is reportedly gay ! They were a bit star struck still though and need to get over it.

I do like Siobhan's voice but think she is very wooden. Also think she murdered the Cabaret number - she is very beautiful but wasn't at all sexy in that song IFKWIM. Connie or Siobhan to win; would probably put money on Connie. when is 'Strictly' back on? Do we know yet?

I am glad Siobhan stayed last night. She is a Midlands girl and the local readio station reported the fact that ALW saved her last night.

I think Strictly Come Dancing will start in a couple of weeks after Maria.

well I am sad Siobhan has gone - agree she probably wasn't ready but she is the most natural of the 3.

Of the 2 I will have to go for Connie (the Maureen Lipman lookalike - great for musical comedy I reckon) - simply because Helena's face just doesn't do it for me. Too much gurning.

I agree with ALW about Siobhan - she's not got the star quality of the other two, and her voice would be better as a recording artist rather than in musical theatre imo.

I know Connie will win, but COME ON HELENA!

I've been rooting for Connie from the very first show: head and shoulders above the rest for me.

I can't stand Helena's face-pulling, though I grudgingly admit she was fantastic singing Cabaret tonight. It is a vote-winning song though, and she was very lucky to get it.

(I have seen/heard Unicorn singing Cabaret though, and she was just as good !)

oh come on, I can't bear connie either but Helena is human wallpaper. as in dull, not the quite stylish and chic wallpaper that is actually available nowadays. it's not a good thing. perhaps I should have said a shadow?

I think Helena has really come on in the last few weeks and she deserved to be there tonight.
I'm sure Connie will win - she is the best and everything but I find her a bit "too much" IYSWIM and a bit OTT which is what you probably need for musical theatre though to be fair. Tonight I also seemed to have a problem with her teeth for some reason - too big

Her performances last week and this have been superb. She was lucky to get Cabaret tonight, but she could've made a mess of it and she didn't! She was great.
