Such a great show. I'm glad I re-watched the last episode of the previous season as so much is going on!

DH gave me season one box set for my birthday as I had read about it and wanted to watch. Managed to watch it all by ep 2 of new season so I am now up to date and loving it.

Liam is very yummy --swoon!!

Was disappointed by the Juliette/Brit husband guy getting jiggy- there was no build up or chemistry. Disappointing writing there. (Although have read ahead and this storyline does develop!)

Quite how Peggy thinks she's going to fool Teddy that she's still preggers should be interesting!

Love this show! This and The Good Wife are about the only progs I watch on tv!

Liam is the record producer/musician guy who Rayna wrote/made the album with!

I think Teddy seemed like the anti-Deacon. A solid, dependable guy who would be (as indeed he has proved to be) a good father to Maddy, supportive of Rayna (apart from accidentally spending all her money) and basically a bit of a plodder. Lamarr created a (not very scary) monster by forcing him to become mayor and thus letting him attempt to have independent thoughts. Teddy has ceased to be aware of his limitations.

I just caught up and WOW beautiful singing by Scarlett and her friend (name escapes me) plus the two sisters :)

Film recommendation for fans of Nashville. Country Strong is about a troubled country singer and it's on uk netflix. Gwyneth Paltrow, Leighton Meester and Tim McGraw.

Yes to the annoying soft focus on Raynar. It doesn't hide her wrinkles at all. Just looks odd.

I'm loving this series as much as the first.

Teddy really is a twat. Claims to be mr Family and yet pulls one stunt after another which upsets his daughters. He seems secretly evil. Something about him.

Liam. Like him a lot. Initially in the first series, I thought Deacon was great. Now I just think he is a big man baby who should grow up and sort his life out instead of all the "poor me" chat!

Sort of like Scarlett. Bit overly ditzy.

Gunnar is great. Bit brooding though.

Raynars sister Tandy. Scary lady. Very stab you in the back.

I like the Juliette character. Clearly completely messed up and hard faced.

The soft focus on Rayna was just for the scenes when she was meant to be younger, I think?

What jangles with me about her is the criminal make-up department. PLEASE let her wear some lipstick!

It was just flashback scenes before, but now it seems to be every scene. I wonder if the actress who plays her demanded it be added to her contract for the second series?

I'm glad it is not just me hating the soft focus. I keep thinking my specs are grubby!

Haven't noticed the soft-focus apart from the 1st ep flashback scene but will look out for it on Thurs. Is Connie Britton trying to hide her wrinkles though? I kind of like that she's 46 and isn't trying desperately to look like she's in her 30's.

Teddy is a twat. My least favourite character, he gives me the shudders.

Now that Lamar thinks Teddy has turned him in, I am hoping Teddy's past misdemeanours will come out and he'll go to prison or something. His face grates on me!

Not sure what will happen now for Rayna. I'm really enjoying this season :)
