I've seen a few similar things on Twitter stinkingbishop, including the suggestion that the criminal mastermind is after her rather than Sherlock - she received the texts & it was her voice playing on the looped video at the end of the episode.

Has anyone else read the reviews today? They all seem to be saying that Sherlock's explanation to Anderson (i.e. the third explanation of how he survived) was the genuine article - but DH and I assumed straight away that that was another red herring!

Not read all upthread but assume all you fans know that BCs parents in show are his real parents _ Wanda Ventham & Timothy Carlton and Mary is MFs real life partner. I hope she isn't bad - she isn't in the books after all.

Always remember Wanda in The Lotus Eaters with Ian Hendry and set in Crete. That was way back in 72/73 - my first TV memories of a drama set in an exotic location. Aaah those were the days showing my age now
