How did he survive jumping of that building? How did he get all that blood back inside him? How did he survive being dead?! Shock

You need to read "A Scandal In Bohemia" to understand why Irene is significant to Sherlock.

She is known as "The Woman" and is the only woman to have outsmarted Sherlock. In my opinion, her role is inflated in adaptations as a love interest and her marital status is ignored from the original. The way I interpret it from the book, Sherlock has a respectful admiration for her for her cleverness rather than a crush on her.

Yes I agree-and thanks for reminding me of the title.

I am so excited about this - counting the days!

I found my DS1's Christmas present for me yesterday and the wonderful boy has bought me series 1 and 2 on DVD Smile

So I plan on watching the last episode again before January 1st ti see if I can figure it out.

Thanks re Irene Adler. That's how she is portrayed in 'elementary' a highly intelligent love interest.

Lois. Your boy is definitely a hero!

I am not too bothered about how Sherlock survived the fall. I just want Season 3 to include an entirely gratuitous scene of him wearing Speedos. Smile

The worst thing is, I've forgotten all my highly ingenious theories since last year, or whenever the final episode screened...

Just watched the mini episide. Who's the guy with the beard Lestrade is talking to in the pub?

Report
FrankelInFoal · 27/12/2013 20:50

It was Anderson, the detective that was always clashing with Sherlock.

Report
LeBearPolar · 27/12/2013 22:41

Do you think they'll explain why Anderson is now out of a job and all Sherlock-obsessed? He couldn't stand him!

JUst watched it, can't wait to see the episode. It didn;t look like John was married as I could;t see a wedding ring and I'm worried about Mrs Thingy that was Sherlock's landlady- has she kept his rooms for him? John has clearly moved out.

The mini episode was brilliant. Reminded me why Sherlock is so funny and quirky. Not to mention of course B.S. Grin

I think the wedding takes place during this series as there have been pictures of both Warson and Sherlock in morning dress circulating.

I've just re watched season one and two in preparation.

As I was watching I had this mad theory. What if Moriarty wasnt Moriarty. Sherlock was accused of hiring an actor to play Moriarty, what if this was true only Sherlock didn't hire him. The real Moriarty did.

Which would mean the Real Moriarty is still out there.

John is with his real wife (as in martins wife the actress) is he not?
They are a lovely couple. Hope they're as nice in the program
