Masterchef Australia 2013

It's back, beginning on 15th September on WATCH. This year should be interesting as apparently they have made changes to the format that didn't' go down too well with viewers. Anyway I'm looking forward to spending time with George, Gary and Matt for the next few months.

Delighted he went, definitely deserved it. My theory is he is one of those people that thinks they're a great cook but in reality there is someone in the background in his case it looks like a long suffering wife covering for mistakes and any shortfall in skills. He probably had 1 great dish that got him onto the show and then at the first major hurdle served raw chicken.

How the other contestants haven't strangled Clarissa yet I don't know. They showed a few clips of her being generally snappy and extremely rude to other contestants too. Looks like she fancies herself as a bit of a diva. So Clarissa gets my next vote to go

I may have warmed to Kelty slightly after tonight's episode

He was ok..... Everyone hates Clarissa :o

I was unsurprised that no-one was willing to give Clarissa some jam sandwiches tonight.

:) she was her own worst enemy, big sigh of relief all round. What's this with 2 having to leave before the next challenge though , have they not kept to the rules ?

I love the "that was just one of the reasons you have to leave today" - translates as "the other contestants have us a list of your faults and said they'd leave if you didn't" :o

I am a trained singer, and I don't feel the need to let out such uber-operatic squawks at random points during the day. I am just surprised that none of the other contestants twatted her with a spade told her to shut up.

Arghh, just googled that glaze for the cake cos it looked amazing and have accidently found out who won this series. Really annoyed . Whatever you do, DON'T google the recipes unless you're prepared to spoil the result.

Glad Clarissa has gone - she was amazingly annoying.

Clarissa's behavior during the Pressure Test was appalling. Poor Christina, and after she had already helped her out! You could tell that there was not a lot of love for Clarissa on the balcony though-

Ah free! I learnt my lesson never to google even the most innocent query right back at series 2 :(

No you have to just write down any recipes you want and then google them once it's all over.

I'm not loving this series at all to be honest, I will stick with it for another while and hope it improves, I'm glad Clarissa is gone, she was very irritating. I don't think the other contestants like Kelty either, they don't seem to give him any credit, I was delighted when he got to fight for immunity and the one that put him up for the challenge didn't

Delighted that screeching witch has gone. I never watch the cooking master class bits. I do however have a bit of a fancy for Gary

I never watch masterclass either. I hope they didn't do the bit with 2 people leaving last night though?

The two people leaving happens the episode after the masterclass.

The only masterclass I watch is the last one, because they usually muck about in that one - George and Gary doing an invention test, for example, with the finalists acting as judges. The rest of the time, I ignore it.

no afraid not . They have just shown 2nd series of Junior Aussie Masterchef on Really though so maybe it will catch up.

I hate the masterclass...I have a soft spot for Gary...

Thought it was only me who skipped the masterclass episodes, for me I dont watch Masterchef Australia for the cooking, its all about the contestants.

Note they asked Andrew to leave after getting rid of Clarissa in the elimination - surely they knew he'd be leaving by then :o
