Chloe is lovely :)

OhYoubadbadKitten · 07/11/2012 21:40

I fear this episode may need to be a two parter to do justice!

Levantine · 07/11/2012 21:43

He's a leetle bit pseuds corner isn't he. It is a grand design though, amazing

OhYoubadbadKitten · 07/11/2012 21:45

Moral of the story is don't build a wonky house!

Itsjustafleshwound · 07/11/2012 21:45

Surely if they had a proper survey they wouldn't have half these issues ...

Itsjustafleshwound · 07/11/2012 21:46

Ply, cement countertops, bodge jobs - at a knockdown £600k ....

CotedePablo · 07/11/2012 21:47

Not sure about the boxy bedrooms. I'm sure they'll be fine on the inside when finished, but I don't find them very attractive on the outside.

AndIfATenTonTruck · 07/11/2012 21:48

We think they are over complicating it somewhat. Most houses are a bit wonky. The bigger it is, the more you should be able to deal with uneven dimensions smoothly over a distance. I am short of sympathy on this one...

Agree with you AndIf. I don't think they're handling this very well at all.

Itsjustafleshwound · 07/11/2012 21:51

Looks like a library .... Awful

OhYoubadbadKitten · 07/11/2012 21:51

It's like living in ikea.

Levantine · 07/11/2012 21:52

Oh no Sad

I don't like it at all

HazeltheMcWitch · 07/11/2012 21:52

It's impressive, but I don't love it.
Also think they could/should have run the project better.

HazeltheMcWitch · 07/11/2012 21:53

HATE her stupid smug face.

OhYoubadbadKitten · 07/11/2012 21:53

Would get very dusty on top of those bedrooms.

MousyMouse · 07/11/2012 21:53

no, not like ikea. ikea is nice.

This is just horrible- like a giant cowshed Confused.

Levantine · 07/11/2012 21:54

They are irritating aren't they.

HazeltheMcWitch · 07/11/2012 21:54

I'd be scared to have red wine near that worktop.
I'd better stick with gin I think.

nametakenagain · 07/11/2012 21:55

Ick

AndIfATenTonTruck · 07/11/2012 21:55

ooh the dust, yes. I was wondering about cleaning that lantern window earlier. The outside can be self cleaning pilkington but the inside is going to need you going up in a cherrypicker...

OhYoubadbadKitten · 07/11/2012 21:55

It's a film set!
Can't believe you can see the loo from the dining table!

MousyMouse · 07/11/2012 21:55

How warm would it be in the winter and how noisy when it rains?
