Aitch dp reliably informs me that they are re-running Red Dwarf - all series - on Dave I think, before the start of the new series. So you're ahead of us again!

weeeeell. i liked RD at the time, but was surprised at how sloooooooow it was on the re-runs. felt much the same with the new one, however i did only stand to watch ten minutes and it did feel like they were doing a lot of character stuff for the noobs. so it might sharpen up, it's just that i won't be around to watch it.

Dd has recently discovered Red Dwarf so she tunes into Dave as often as she can - not that often, then as I am an Old Bag who won't let her do anything (allegedly ). Perhaps I should add that she's 13 ........

There was a film called West World - years ago. It was, I think, one of the first of its kind. Yul Brynner was a robot which had gone rogue in a theme park (wild west, but there were some other 'worlds' too). The Gunman was a poor man's copy.

I know you've all moved on from the last ep, but it's really been bothering me, and I'm just happy to have remembered!

Wanted to post about this before, but I didn't want to look shallow well, shallower amongst all the proper fans

I clocked the West World similarities, and thought the townsfolk seemed to take everything far too much for granted - it seemed unreal iyswim. But perhaps I am overthinking.

Also like Rory better now, and that he's been collecting first aid kit, and seems more assured at taking charge medically.
