We already had a pandorica cake for my DS's 5th birthday, Dalek cake might be more of a challenge.

I made my DS a fab Dalek cake from a Blue Peter clip on YouTube. It was quite easy with shop bought swiss rolls. Especially as its a Dalek episode (and the best one ever, according to some reviews!!!!)

I'm v...v....v...v excited about the new series.

But disappointed that there are 12 episodes instead of 13. And the fact that they are showing the first 5 episodes, then making us wait til the Christmas special, then another little wait before the rest of the series.

I want Dr Who every week!

What have I missed, any reading material before tonight? I was planning on watching the last series again before this one started, but time has gotten away from me.

Snapespear, wow, that tattoo is amazing. I hope matt sticks around for a while after you getting that! I'm hoping to watch live, but 7pm is smack bang in the middle of bath and bed time, so I might be on sky+

Have you seen pond life *glaikit?' if you have time it might be useful before tonight, I don't think it counts as spoilers, I think it's essential for understanding as it happens post wedding RS, per tonight...

I just found Pond Life on IPlayer, the ood made me laugh - id love an ood.

Cat wait for tonight, the dc are excited too and I have to decide whether to try and get my toddler into bed early which might be a disaster an means he will be up at 5am or try and watch it when he's awake with him wanting to play etc. oh why did I have to make bedtime 7.30pm!!

Just watched the Doctor the Widow and the Wardrobe and it made me cry, I like Matt Smith a lot he's really grown on me.

Pond life was great but v sad at end. Rewatched some old episodes this morning. "Basically run" Brilliant.
