I have been waiting for this for a very long time! :-)

My 10 year old thinks that the doctor takes Amy and Rory somewhere that ages them loads and they die of old age. That's his 10 year old opinion.

Came onto the thread to relate the following:
DD (6) turned to me this morning and said solemnly: "I know what happens to Rory"
"Really, darling?"
"Yes, x happens."
"That's nice, darling. Where did you hear that?"
"It was in my Beano magazine."

Just caught up. I agree it was a bit odd. Not only did it mess with my head having Crichton from Farscape as the Marshall (sci if geek), I didn't really get it.

Who was the young man who wanted to kill jex? Was his name ever mentioned? Because the doctor had a bit of banter with his, about jex not being worth it but he was? And was the explosion in the right place? The doctor seemed to ride out quite a bit before finding the egg, but it looked like it was right behinds the buildings when it exploded.

And when the tracks disappeared at the end what was the image coming in and out of focus?

I'm going to have to watch it again!

I'd just like to remind you all that Mr Moffat likes to mess with his fan's heads. No doubt he has planted numerous false clues through the series and is now sitting back in his chair and laughing at us all Bond villain style

mmmmm. seemed to be a few plot-holes and inconsistencies, but i was watching rather breathlessly, iykwim? will see what i think on second viewing.

What's an ep without plot holes and inconsistencies these days ?

Aitch - nothing but

The John Barrowman interview yesterday prompted me to look out Torchwood and I found series 1 on Netflix. The first episode shows pterodactyls in the hub so maybe Dinosaurs in a space ship wasn't too much of a surprise after all!

Is it a behind the sofa episode aitch?
