Ooh this is my local hospital - my DCs were born there.

Talk about let yourself out?!Hmm

Sparklingbrook · 14/08/2012 21:58

I should have had home births then. Perhaps things have changed in the last ten years?

I would have rather had two midwives to myself at home than wearing the buzzer out in the hospital and feeling forgotten.

PatFenis · 14/08/2012 21:58

Sarge I don't know them that well tbh - they come into my place of work a lot and I try to engage Danielle but she generally doesn't have an awful lot to say but Bruce is a gob on a stick.

Lozario · 14/08/2012 21:58

Oooh that Going Home feeling!!! Baby Rose is so cute Grin

teaandthorazine · 14/08/2012 21:59

ThePathanKhansWitch · 14/08/2012 21:59

BadDayAtTheOrifice · 14/08/2012 22:01

Sparkling, the biggest factor in me choosing to homebirth was so I could have a midwife to myself. Wink

GrannyRat · 14/08/2012 22:01

Thanks for your company - same time next week?

lastnerve · 14/08/2012 22:02

I can't believe they were out shopping day after birth :O

Was I the only one thinking , why can't Bruce take the eldest to school FFS, its not like he has to rush for work.

Sparklingbrook · 14/08/2012 22:03

Is it too late to rewind back to 1999 so I can have DS1 at home with 2 midwives to myself? Sad

I'm from West Wirral and it brought back lots of memories of the place, the beach between Hoylake and West Kirby, and the Marine Lake. I felt for all the women, more so I think because it's 'home'.

Pickles77 · 14/08/2012 22:08

When I'm up every two hours with a full bladder I don't call it lucky Grin
Enjoy York Frankel! Grin

Sparklingbrook · 14/08/2012 22:09

It was a long time ago Sarge, it probably wouldn't have crossed my mind again if I hadn't watched this programme. Perhaps it was just a very busy night on the labour ward. I was fine, DS was fine so all ok.
