I remember in th'olden days when there were no spoilers. The nation had no idea whether Deidre would choose to stay with Ken or do a runner with Mike Baldwin until it was actually broadcast. And we didn't know who shot JR.

So for those of us with no life who enjoy Corrie without spoilers, a new thread discuss our beloved soap with all its flaws

I loved Deirdre's stuffed marrow dinner party and comment about Tracey having one of Samir's kidneys. Classic.

You're right Frilly. A perfect vehicle to show that disabled women can and do have babies. I hope they think about that.

Coincidentally I was watching an old episode of ER last night when one of the doctors was working a hospital in the deep south, a white girl with a racist father had just given birth to a baby out of wedlock and the Dr was telling her that although the baby appeared pale skinned if there was any chance the baby's father was African-American she may want to prepare to tell her father because the dark pigmentation often didn't show for a few days. Which makes me wonder if it might not be Tyrone's baby.

I agree, they have completely wasted the chance to show Izzy having a baby, or at least properly investigating the pros and cons of it WRT her disability.

I am a bit behind as I usually catch up on BT Vision but they don't have last night's and missed out both the ones before Monday's (Sunday?) so I missed all the baby drama. What did Tina do that was so bad?

Kirsty wound up Tina in Rovets about Tommy's accident. Tina list her cool and pushed pregnant Krazy Kirsty and she gave birth in back room.

Ken is such a player DP is adamant that Kirsty's baby isn't Tyrone's. He (DP) has the same skintone as Kirsty and is basing it on our DC's though!

Lloyd as a father storyline - BORING!!! Predictable child-hates-mother/why-didn't-you-tell-me-I-had-a-child lazy scripting.

Glad about Tina and Tommy's situation but I'm sure the pregnancy isn't going to be plain sailing - cue lots of Owen demanding his money back!

That ex of Lloyds is really getting on my tits, she didn't need to acknowledge him in the gig queue. She would have gone out of her way to avoid him.

The Tina storyline has lots of interesting possibilities.
The Wendy Crozier thing - yeah, considering both his grandkids go to the school, and education is his 'no1 thing', how come he didn't occasionally read the school newsletter and know who the goverenors were?
The Wendy Crozierr thing happened during one of the periods when I wasn't watching corrie, but considering the number of affairs Ken and Deidre have racked up between them, Wendy is surely not soley to blame...

She has a new surname though, so presumably that's the get out clause for him not realising before that she was on the board. ? Maybe?
