I remember in th'olden days when there were no spoilers. The nation had no idea whether Deidre would choose to stay with Ken or do a runner with Mike Baldwin until it was actually broadcast. And we didn't know who shot JR.

So for those of us with no life who enjoy Corrie without spoilers, a new thread discuss our beloved soap with all its flaws

So who noticed that the magazine Anna was showing Katie was called 'SHIT'?

Ok haven't watched Corrie for about a month but what on earth is going on with the script writers -have they completely forgotten peoples pasts??
Tracey and Amy don't speak to Michelle and Tracey tells Michelle to not speak to her daughter as she is nothing to
Do with her -you think Michelle might have stuck up for herself and mentioned that she brought up Amy for a couple of years ?
Carlas brother keeps threatening Steve and telling Steve that he doesn't know Michelle -Steve does say "we did used to go out you know" -eh they didn't just date for a couple of weeks -did they not live together for a couple of years and bring up their children together -everyone is acting as if they have just met !
Now Tracey starts flirting with Ryan who is about 20 years her junior and just because he is now played by a different actor doesn't mean it's ok for him to suddenly be a love interest. A couple of years ago he was a moody 14/15 year old you just wouldn't !!
And what on earth is the ridiculous -Kevin does loud DIY storyline -oh dear !

The DIY is the worst storyline. Ive been on nights for two weeks and had all the windows replaced and the bathroom retiled and the roof done. Did I complain I couldnt sleep? Not at all, I slept through the whole demolition. This is next door as well.

Where's the gays these days? Sophie et al?

The surrogate storyline is getting on my wick already and its its only just started!

in no particular order...
ok, am reluctantly coming round to the surrogate story as it does offer some useful possibilities in the Owen-manipulating-Chesney, blended-family-dynamics areas.

I want the gp on corrie - if you can get an appointment at the drp f a hat. They never have to call back each morning for a week to get in to see the one and only doctor.

No one ever gives the price of the drinks in the rovers - they just hand over some money and get change, I want to just give a bit of money and get change

The doctor also comes to see you if you are a little bit poorly no matter where you are.

I know it is wonderful in soap land how doctors do this

in some soaps the doctor is a gp and a surgeon it is wonderful

why is there only on dr in corrie and he sees bloody everyone even at home

I don't think the doctor is qualified - could be a story line coming up, the neighbours find out when the surrogacey goes wrong and they have a baby without red hair

And that's another thing I love about the Corrie - all the redheads

Why does Izzy need a surrogate? I know it would be difficult for her to carry a child but if she was that desperate for a child surely she'd give it another go?

The surrogacy storyline is giving me the rage. 'Hey there 16 year old sister who's just had a baby, do you mind having a kid for us now?'. What's the frigging rush.

Re: the surrogate storyline - where is the money coming from? Weren't they told it would cost ££££££. They're not exactly well off or working in well paid jobs.

Why doesn't the fireman go back to his own house while Kevin DIYs and live there for a week or so?!!

Why doesn't Kev get his highbrows threaded?

Completely agree SSD - Gary and Izzie have gone from m/c to deciding not to try for a baby again, to an adoption open day and now a surrogacy appointment in what, 2 or 3 weeks?
