The all new Corrie thread NO SPOILERS PLEASE!

I remember in th'olden days when there were no spoilers. The nation had no idea whether Deidre would choose to stay with Ken or do a runner with Mike Baldwin until it was actually broadcast. And we didn't know who shot JR.

So for those of us with no life who enjoy Corrie without spoilers, a new thread discuss our beloved soap with all its flaws Grin

OP posts:

Love Mary, she gets some killer lines.

CapuccinoCannoliLover · 28/06/2012 19:10

Agree, love Mary and Norris

SoleSource · 28/06/2012 20:24

When is Rita back? Tina has disappeared again. Maria's brother too. They would be around in the area. Unrealistic for a soap.

SoleSource · 30/06/2012 15:45

Didn't anybody watch last night? Sean went crackers at the hospital.

SleepyFergus · 30/06/2012 16:22

Yep, just caught up on it today. I really dislike Sean, I'm glad what happened happened! (don't want to spoil it for those who might not have seen it)

It all went a bit Benny Hill in the pub though.....seemed very surreal esp considering Eva and Sunitas relationship.

ajandjjmum · 30/06/2012 17:04

Ooohhh - very cryptic! Haven't watched yet, so shall look forward to doing so tonight!

SoleSource · 30/06/2012 17:10

LOL @ Benny Hill. The way she answered her rat 'phone'. LOL

LineRunner · 30/06/2012 19:00

Mary fancies Roy. Or thinks Roy fancies her. Classic.

GnocchiNineDoors · 30/06/2012 19:09

The pub rat scenes were farcical. Poor.

Anyone think Hayley and Norris may get a bit too close?

KenDoddsDadsDog · 30/06/2012 19:22

Where is Steve these days? He's always good for comedy.

MrsGuyOfGisbourne · 30/06/2012 19:32

yes to Steve an comedy!
And ooh, Mary & Norris and the chess - classic stuff

SoleSource · 30/06/2012 19:45

Sometimes the story moves on at lightning speed. Did Steve sell the house in which lives Tracey? Or did she manage to halt the sale?

MurielTheActor · 30/06/2012 19:49

The Roy/Mary thing is inspired Smile

SleepyFergus · 30/06/2012 20:14

Steve still trying to sell the house, but Tracy and whatsherface & son are sabotaging any viewings.

theliverpoolone · 30/06/2012 20:18

How come Hayley is suddenly doing ballroom dancing? It was salsa classes she was doing a while ago.

Clawdy · 01/07/2012 18:35

The rat "homage to Fawlty Towers" scene was embarrassing, like a silly 1950s stage farce. Sometimes they do comedy so well but whoever wrote a line like "My wife's a martyr to lumbago" as Sunitta is yelping and squealing with Steve gurning in the background, wants sacking.....

MurielTheActor · 02/07/2012 09:50

Clawdy Some of us find great joy in silly 1950s stage farces. Well I do Grin

KenDoddsDadsDog · 02/07/2012 10:10

Please can someone take Simon away on a long holiday with Nick and Leanne?

SoleSource · 02/07/2012 10:50

Simon has always given me the creeps.

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 02/07/2012 12:47

Haven't seen the latest episodes yet, but there are 7 episodes this week, so things probably will start shifting along a bit. Apparently Steve is back in the thick of things this week

SoleSource · 02/07/2012 12:50

7 episodes? OOh! Grin

I would shag Steve

ajandjjmum · 02/07/2012 13:15

I love Simon - think he's a really little cutie. Quite liked the rat scene too.

SoleSource · 02/07/2012 13:23

Peter is gorgeous, lovely brown eyes.

squoosh · 02/07/2012 16:16

Can't stand Simon. Feel a little bad saying that about a child!

It's the fact they're doing that cliched 'dry adult humour coming from a child'.

Oh and get rid of Leanne and her puckered brow and wardrobe straight out of 1993.

squoosh · 02/07/2012 16:19

So Leanne bleats on about stability for Simon and then moves in with Nick on the very DAY that he declares his love for her. Even though she doesn't feel the same.

Yep, that's stability Hmm

Oh and please, someone get the formerly glam Carla out of that depressing little flat!
