I remember in th'olden days when there were no spoilers. The nation had no idea whether Deidre would choose to stay with Ken or do a runner with Mike Baldwin until it was actually broadcast. And we didn't know who shot JR.

So for those of us with no life who enjoy Corrie without spoilers, a new thread discuss our beloved soap with all its flaws

i get a uneasy feeling about Marcus's workmate.

SoleSource agree on both points - I am on Eva's side and Marcus's friend is very iffy, slightly stalkerish. Dev is annoying, but Sunita is being a cow.

Aiden is defo creepy. I think it's his mouth and glakit expression that weirds me out! Not that i'm a huge fan of Sean mind!

I like Eva, but I also quite like Leanne & Nick & Simon all together shoot me now!

Simon belongs with Peter.

I know Leanne has been a cow, but she has been treated so badly by Peter and Carla, you can sort of understand her for wanting someone to love and care for her. And whatever else, Nick has always been there for her. And Simon loves her so much, and certainly doesn't hate Nick like he does Carla. Oh dear, it's becoming more than a story!

Why is Peter so selfish? Why can he have a partner but Leanne can't? Or is there a lot of history with Nick that I've missed?

I think it's unanimous - Marcus's friend is CREEPY!!

Well basically Peter and Leanne were getting close to Carla and Nick respectively around the time of the tram crash, but decided to make a go of their marriage. Left Peter hating Nick though. In no time Carla and Peter were back together.

My life is so boring..............

Nick and Leanne had an affair behind Peter's back, that is why he hates him but it hardly matters now. Simon likes Nick, who is good with kids, thats the difference between him and Carla.

I don't think Eva has a side to be on, Nick was never serious about her and had finished with her over her jealousy and not being that into her, not Leanne's fault (not that I like Leanne much).

Simon wants to live with Leanne, Peter was stopping Ken from seeing him as well so he wasn't exactly being model father.

Peter dumped Leanne at the altar when he found about her affair with Nick didn't he? Then after the tram crash they thought he was going to die and had a deathbed wedding, but Peter made an unexpected recovery. They tried to make a go of it, but Carla went after Peter ruthlessly and eventually lured him into her clutches. Eva is shallow and needy and Nick just let her think he was far more serious than he was.

I loved the bit where Norris described Mary as "all the grace of a fridge-freezer" while she was behind him.
