I remember in th'olden days when there were no spoilers. The nation had no idea whether Deidre would choose to stay with Ken or do a runner with Mike Baldwin until it was actually broadcast. And we didn't know who shot JR.

So for those of us with no life who enjoy Corrie without spoilers, a new thread discuss our beloved soap with all its flaws

Chesney was good as a child and it feels like they are trying to reproduce the same in Simon. Definitely NOT the same. Looking forward to 7 episodes - missed the rat one.

LoL at the comments! Carla does need to return to the glam. Agree re Simon, also feel mean saying it, but he cannot act! I did want to slap Sean for turning up at the hospital, causing a scene and walking in on that poor woman, who would do that?! The rat in the pub was funny though.

I like Lloyd, so glad he's back (not seen tonight's yet though!).

I don't usually rate Marcus (or Shaun) much as actors, but I thought they were both really good in their scenes last Friday.

Haven't seen tonight's but I like Lloyd. Loved the cab firm scenes with him,Eileen and Steve. What happened with Maria and Marcus?

Well, caught up with Friday's episodes, I enjoyed the rat scene and despite Sunita having been really annoying the last few months I was pleased to see her put Eva back in her place.

The Norris/Mary stuff leaves me cold, but it was nice to see Lloyd. I've only watched the first one from last night though

Marcus is a great actor, really believable is his hurt over the breakdown of his relationship in parts. Marcus would be a great Father.

I really thought Lloyd was gone for good. His character was quick to leave. Hope he is back for good.

Hopefully the silly storyline with Tracey working as a mole for Street Cars will be shortlived. I prefer her and Steve having slanging matches. More realistic!

Izz's facial expressions are..just kinda bad acting. Her tone of voice is virtually the same for most scenes. Who does Leanne think she is? Simon makes me vom. Peter needs to get Simon back and Carla needs a new hot love interest for me to ogle for her.

Corrie was on today.

I really am feeling for poor Fay. Ive just seen the sports day one. That headmaster gets on my wick.

The Tracy storyline is daft. The Leanne and Nick storyline is daft. Glad Lloyd is back though!

I thought Fay was older, 12 or 13. How old is she meant to be?

I was thinking exactly the same thing. She's too old for Bessie Street. And, how big was that school field??

She must be top juniors?

But those two bullies look about fourteen! And why were they at Simon's party?

Fay is still at junior school?

Apparently in real life she is in Year 6. She's also the cousin of the girl who plays Sophie Webster!
