I remember in th'olden days when there were no spoilers. The nation had no idea whether Deidre would choose to stay with Ken or do a runner with Mike Baldwin until it was actually broadcast. And we didn't know who shot JR.

So for those of us with no life who enjoy Corrie without spoilers, a new thread discuss our beloved soap with all its flaws

It was a paid carer who went to live in Wales. I'm still not sure about Paul, sometimes I like him, sometimes not, he can be a bit wooden, but then the ludicrous storylines must make it hard work! If he makes Eileen happy then I'm happy for him to stay. He has GOT to ditch the beige jacket though! Loved watching him and Eileen tell the Platts where to shove it, even if it was tasteless getting him back with Eileen the day of the funeral.

Loved Eileen's conversation with Lesley's sister - so true to life!!! She was so precious about Paul's relationship with Eileen, but seemingly had done nothing to help while her sister was alive. People like that need telling - well done Eileen! Who said it's not real?

Wasn't Lesley's sister Mr.Bates' wife in Downton?

Sunita and what's his name from Taggart are such an unlikely unbelievable couple. Anyone else think this. I could quite believe in Deirdre and Dev though. About time Deirdre had a bit of excitement in her life!

I thought the Eileen and Lesley's sister conversation was very good too. And so absoultely true to life. No help offered for years and yet still first to point the finger. Who says I take Corrie too seriously.

No, all I see when I look at Owen is an evil person who I suspect of being up to something whenever he does something nice. Like Tracey or Terry.

Sunita is making me truly nauseous in her seduction mode - hope that story line finishes soon.....although living with Dev would turn anyone weird/mad...

This is it really, we shouldn't be surprised that Sunita has bad taste in men really should we? It's just that she used to be such a little mouse.

Owen has his moments...Paul is boring and plain...apart from sweet little Tommy who's a bit young there are no fanciable males in Corrie at the moment!
