Just watched part 2 of Homeland shown on Channel 4 last night.

Fantastic drama with an excellent script, superb acting and lots of twists and turns.

Has he been brainwashed????

If Brody is weak then he would have been easy to turn and train. I don't trust him at all and I don't trust Saul but can't put my finger on why where he's concerned. Bearing in mind there is a series two I wonder whether there will be any conclusions in this series?

But none of this explains the flashbacks of Brodie beating the crap out of Walker. If Brodie has turned, then he killed Walker presumably because Walker knew. If Brodie hasn't turned, then he killed Walker because he was told to, to save his own life. There's no scenario in which Brodie doesn't kill Walker.

And we saw Brody dump walkers body into a grave, unless that was a nightmare.

And who is Issa? I don't believe it was his guard.

Hassled we dont KNOW Brody killed Walker. he was told he killed him, maybe?

No it was a couple of weeks ago, he was dreaming (?) and he was digging a grave and rolled Walker into it.

last night we were so busy trying to work out what Aileen's/Faisal's story was, and whether or not Saul was the mole that we comPLETEly forgot Brody was supposed to have been turned

I had just been seeing him through my 'goody' lenses

think he has one o' them faces. He just looks like a Nice Chap

I just can't stand Brodie's wife - she is as annoying as Jack Bauer's daughter was in 24.

I reckon Saul gave the guard the razor blade in payment for him giving up the info.

YY I actually stopped watching 24 because of annoying wife - I was most pissed off tp find out that they blew her up eventually but then couldn't get back into it!

Oh that was a good episode! I thought it was going to be Mike in the drawing.

I really want Brodie and Carrie together.

I saw Damian Lewis being interviewed and he said that Claire Danes is in the second series but he wouldn't confirm if he was in it, which made me think that he dies in this one.

I'm hoping it doesnt end up being like Lost, with no answers but interminable questions

I'm still pissed off about Lost - SO many unanswered story lines!

I keep thinking Saul's a baddy, jury's still out on Brody, and wondering how Carrie will get out her various tricky situations.

Would Saul really have been allowed to sit in a diner eating fires with a suspected terrorist?

No Saul woudl not have been allowed to do that, in the same way Brody woudlnt have been allowed to visit his Prison Guard, then scrap with him

then they went to a hotel (I think) and she was in the bathroom and somebody shot him through the door
she escaped through the bathroom window

I think Saul's wife has got to be part of it otherwise why wheel her in?
