Just watched part 2 of Homeland shown on Channel 4 last night.

Fantastic drama with an excellent script, superb acting and lots of twists and turns.

Has he been brainwashed????

No, he was shopping then phoned home to ask about something on the shopping list. His wife was hoovering so didn't hear the phone. He finished, went to the car and got jumped on as he opened the boot. His mobile then rang with his wife returning his call. Next bit is him lying on a bed having flashbacks to when he was with Abu Nazir.

Unfortunately I found homeland so bloody good that I stayed up till stupid o clock 2 weeks ago reading all the episode spoilers on Wikipedia. I do the same with books. Ruined I tell ya, ruined :(((

BUT wasnt he all bedraggled and beardy when pulled from rubble during rescue by US troops?

But Cybbo that backs up some earlier theory that the raid on the camp/whatever was a set up by Nazir (as in, he somehow tipped the Americans off) to get Brodie back to the US - he would have allowed beardy regrowth and stuck him back in the hole so the US troops could find him like that.

Wasn't it 3 years between the bombing and Brody being found? Plenty of time to encourage him.

I recon he's going to turn BACK soon. And squeal to CIA about Abu Nazir. He's been pretending all along, and I reckon Saul knows it and CArrie doesnt and thats why Saul told Carrie off for persuing Brody so much THATS IT I'VE SOLVED IT
