Is anyone else addicted to Pointless?

I'm horridly addicted to Pointless. I have it on series link and watch it at night whenever DH is away. I desperately want to be on the show, I even applied. Am I a sad git?

The only thing I don't like is the advantage that they sometimes get in the head-to-head by going first. Often there are only one or two obscure answers and if you go first it's guaranteed a winner.

Can I take a moment to preen myself for, finally, starting a successful thread on MN. Should of known sooner that intelligent questions about parenting or stationery was not the way to go, it was always going to be about a television game show.

I can't play along at the moment as I only just got in from the dreaded Tuesday ballet run (as opposed to the even more dreaded Friday ballet run) and will have to watch on catch up. Maybe we should schedule an official catchup session. How is 8pm for everyone?

I am soooo suited for Pointless and making Richard admire my knowledge of World War 2 escape films.

DS's(8) fave programme

My friends were on it and he has an audition for The Chase soon...

DD(4) and I watch it together. She gets ever so excited when she thinks someone is about to win. There are a few final rounds I could get but would be completely screwed by football or pop music... Maybe I should try to persuade my brother, DH would be useless.
