Have started new thread, will be watching last night episode today and will report back.

The hooded figure is a woman. Apparently she's great in the comics. The zombies are her pets.

I really must read the comics this summer, they're all on my computer, I've just not got around to it.

I wonder if this is the strong female figure that comes into season 3, I really hope season 3 isn't based solely in that (possible) prison with it all being about power and prison hierarchy!

I thought that the woman in the hoodie was a jedi at first. Andrea is going to be MOST pissed off with them all. She was awesome though.
Daryl was great saving Carol, but it's a shame he didn't go back for Andrea as well. I was kind of hoping that the zombies would pull her off the back of the bike so I didn't jave to keep looking at her awful hair style. She looks young and pretty - why does she have the hair of a 70 year old?
Carl is a brat. He even stormed off when they were waiting by the zombie car park on the road. Idiot.

limited The hooded person is a (spoiler filled link) woman, and if you look closely, her zombies have no arms and no jaws to prevent the biting. And she's a sword badass so hopefully will fix Lori's whole 'wimin do washing up/men do the protectin' crap which was certainly not in the comics.

The hoody figure is definitely a woman, are we being cagey about who she is? If we are then her name starts with an M . . . . .

Talking of Carols hair, what about Lori's it looks terrible for gawds sake woman either cut it or scrape it off your face!!

Fab episode last night! When hooded person with walkers on chains turned up me and dh both said "What the FUCK?!" right at the same time

Not read the comics but I'm guessing walking with walkers next to you confuses other walkers so they think you're one of them and thus leave you alone???

Well rick and (someone else Glenn?) covered themselves in walker guts to sneak through a crowd of walkers in series 1 so there was an assumed sense of smell I think.

The walkers by the end of series 2 seem to look about them so do they also have sight?

susiedaisy I don't think they're far from Andrea, they came across the farm whilst searching for Sophia, who had ran from the freeway, so must be walking distance.

Great episode, role on season 3!

Yes, I think the woman in the hood is the badass from the prison. I hope she injects some decency into the women characters. My jaw dropped when Lori gave that bullshit "wimmins should do the washing" speech. Which wasn't questioned at all.

Stupid re the women I agree, ESP when you remember maggie storming through the woods on her horse, wasn't she wielding a baseball bat?

Ooh!! have just watched last nights episode - the entrance by woman in the hood was fantastic. Thanks for the 'no jaws' info there Derbys, I noticed the lack of arms but not jaws. Reckon this lady can teach Andrea a thing or two! Although I was rooting for her, couldn't believe she got left behind although really, it is a pretty realistic situation isn't it?!

FGS can no one keep an eye on Carl, trotting off again when they were on the high way - come on Rick keep an eye on your son - your wife doesn't and neither do you!

Said to dp whilst watching this episode, I'm surprised we've never seen a main character shoot themselves when faced with zombie hoard, they all had guns and were in some pretty tight situations at times, if I was faced wth being eaten or a shot to the head I know what I would prefer. Then again I doubt I would survive well in a zombie apocalypse

Well I'm all caught up. Wow. I assumed the hooded women was the devil Tbh!
Why did they all look at Rick as though he'd said he liked ripping the heads of kittens? Shame tried to kill me, I killed him first. Ok. Let's get on. But no, suddenly he's the bad guy.
And I no longer think Lori wins as weak female of the group. The blonde who just hugged her dad all the way through. It's her. And how come all the Peope who does in the zombie swarm were people we barely knew? And how come they can't find somewhere to stay? Small building, and actually act like there might be zombies. 2 people patrol constantly. All are armed and trained to use them. Regular runs for ammo and supplies. Plan people plan.

Oh, and who was flying the helicopter

Yes to everyone being shocked with rick re Shane, whoever said lori would suddenly decide she loved Shane now was right I reckon. Still no 1 annoying female in my book!
