Exactly, her mum has to do the hard work 2nd time over, and she gets to do whatever, visiting ever now and then. I do feel bad got her, but she didn't try hard enough.

I always wonder in all these cases where the wider family support is. I understand it won't exist for those who were in the care system themselves but that isn't the case this week.

Well I'm quite surprised. I thought the family with the little girl stood a chance and the 2nd family with the boy didn't stand any chance. Looks to be the complete opposite!

It's a shame about the first one though because she seemed to have all the skills neccessary - she just couldn't get off the drugs :(

Really hope Ben does not go back to his mum. If its not one abusive fickwit it will be another.

mollie I can imagine that the mother of the lady with the drug issues has had to back off to survive.
She is now looking after two young children. She may be elderly and not receiving any significant finacial support.

She could have had years of trying to support her DD and has had enough and is concentrating on looking after the girls.

Perhaps? I dont know.

The lady in the flat said she had not spoken to her dad for years. She seems very alone dosent she?

Is Louise pregnant again?

Lots of women get in with blokes who the family don't approve of/men who are controlling & lose contact.

Or have parents who werent great at it.

Or have been off the rails teens who lose the connection with family

working with all three at the moment
