Just switched on, hello all, can only watch this with utter fascination and respect as know I'm booked for section, too scared to watch before.

err yes..

allnightlong · 11/01/2012 21:11

Rhetorican I get that impression too compared to the othe hospital were there is a much more positve atmosphere.

scarletforya · 11/01/2012 21:11

How come they all have private rooms?

Sparklingbrook · 11/01/2012 21:13

OOh Max Beesley.

BroomForMyChin · 11/01/2012 21:13

I thought you always got a private room once you were in established labor?

FrillyMilly · 11/01/2012 21:13

I don't think childbirth is the worst pain of your life. It's not comparable to any other pain really.

I feel sorry for her not progressing. It's heartbreaking to hear that!

Snakeonaplane · 11/01/2012 21:13

I have a 3 week old asleep upstairs but watching obem and I want to to do it all again, for a 4th time Shock Will this madness ever end?

DaenerysTargaryen · 11/01/2012 21:13

did you not have a private room to give birth in scarlet? I thought everyone did

pigleychez · 11/01/2012 21:14

haha LOVE the aldi ad Grin

rhetorician · 11/01/2012 21:14

just the 'labour is horrible and it's going to get worse' comment, and the 'disheartening' comment...positivity from those who've seen it all before helps a lot especially if you don't know what is going to happen, or, like the blonde lady, you had a shit time last time around

scarletforya · 11/01/2012 21:14

(I'm in Ireland, sorry, not sure how the NHS works!)

FatimaLovesBread · 11/01/2012 21:14

I heard from a friend of a friend that works at LGI that they had 3 new delivery suites built with wall mounted camera especially for OBEM

gregssausageroll · 11/01/2012 21:14

My mw was about to send me home until I had a meltdown in front of another who agreed to put a monitor on me. One hour later i was in recovery after an emer section.

Snakeonaplane · 11/01/2012 21:14

Get off the bed lady not in established labour.

DaenerysTargaryen · 11/01/2012 21:14

dd1 was possibly the worst pain I've ever had but dd2 I could do again right now, no problem

hugglymugly · 11/01/2012 21:15

Worst pain in your life? Obviously no experience of kidney stones/broken legs, whatever. Useless.

So the woman scored on 10 out of 10 according to the twatty-bloke. Useless.

hermionestranger · 11/01/2012 21:15

Oh he's a prat and no mistake! Play a game?!

bigeyes · 11/01/2012 21:15

Pishtushette · 11/01/2012 21:16

KateUnrulyBush · 11/01/2012 21:16

Evilwater · 11/01/2012 21:16

Victorialucas · 11/01/2012 21:16

Why the cem?

scarletforya · 11/01/2012 21:16

(I'm pregnant on first)

I thought there was sort of a ward where you did early labour and then were moved into a delivery suite from there!!! DOH!! Blush

I see now that is silly!

BroomForMyChin · 11/01/2012 21:17

I thought you weren't allowed off the bed if they were monitoring you?

Once they put that thing round my tummy I was told I wasn't allowed to move Sad o
