Spike, I had two terrible labours and thought I was broken and unnatural. But fantastic care and a wonderful birth trauma specialist helped me understand and deal with what happened as it happened 2nd time round. Is your sister seeing anybody?

we got a ticket when i was giving birth at THAT HOSPITAL!!!!

She would do so much better than that awful midwife. It one thing having to be more firm but it can still be done with respect. Using emotional blackmail 'think about your baby' and frightening her like that isn't going to help calm the situation if she thinks her baby is in danger.

Its so confusing watching this programme. I spend half the time getting furious about the way my birth went and jealous at other peoples births. Then the other half sobbing and happy because its beautiful really.
