Right, found the thread! Despite guffawing a bit at Disney couple at the start, I well and truly take my hat of to her in that pool. Big respect, HEather! And, looking back, yes my ante-natal classes did focus a lot on pain relief. Wish either of my birth experiences had been like hers

Agreed Jambalaya although not sure I'll be needing a midwife as DH only watched the opening credits and said he didn't want to DTD tonight as babies are all slimy....

I love OBEM.

I spend my Wednesday nights sobbing for an hour.

Disney girl was amazing. With my DD my midwife shouted at me because I couldn't stop giggling.

That water birth was amazing. Remember one from last season where a young, slim, pretty woman came in, slipped into the pool and casually slipped a baby out - they make it look so easy!

What a lucky woman. Beautiful birth.

Women are really quite fab.

Well respect to her, was predicting her ripping off the outfit and screaming for the drugs but no, a brave lady indeed. He was so supportive which must have helped I reckon. The newborn was so calm and collected, I am SO insisting on the whole water birth thing next time.
