Chubfuddler - yes Blush

I like the 90-minute format and thought the pilot was a bit rubbish (although, to be fair, not entirely because of its length). Each episode feels like an event and a treat, and there's an argument for quality over quantity. On the other hand, it'd be nice if there was a six or eight-part series of Benedict and his beautiful hands and kissy bottom lip the show.

shrinkingnora · 09/01/2012 16:59

Actually, I think I have residual Rupert fancying from when he was all foppish and floppy-fringed in A Room with a View....

wintera · 09/01/2012 17:01

Apparently just been told that Rupert Graves and Silver Fox were trending on Twitter last night so he's obviously got a large following now!

Thanks, Leonie! I have indeed discovered The Last Enemy and watched it many many times once or twice. Grin

Grin

Honestly, I've got to stop ogling and fantasising. It's got to the stage where I can't see a picture of him or hear mention of him without blushing.

Matt Smith Schmatt Smith, I say.

alemci · 09/01/2012 17:40

I like Rupert Graves. he always does that expression with his mouth. I always enjoy seeing him in things.

seriouslytwisted · 09/01/2012 18:12

An interesting twist on a classic story - definitely the most entertaining prog on TV at the moment. Have only just discovered this series - how did I miss the original?? Oh well, better late than never.

TeamDamon · 09/01/2012 18:29

Must just mention that the original series is currently a bargain £4.99 on Amazon...

Am now the proud owner of my very own Series 1 and can lust over Benedict admire the fine writing and acting as often as I want Grin

Bossybritches22 · 09/01/2012 18:38

Cold showers all round then ladies? Grin

KwaziiHunt · 09/01/2012 18:40

Can anyone tell me how Watson was drugged?

Holmes thought it was the sugar so gave him some, but it wasn't in the end was it?
So how was Watson drugged and therefore hallucinating in the lab?

ElderberrySyrup · 09/01/2012 18:40

leaky pipes

KwaziiHunt · 09/01/2012 18:48

Oh it was them. Thanks.

Grin at the Cumberbitches!

Advise that we all avoid Atonement, btw - had forgotten that the character he plays in that turns out to be the rapist and I for one really don't want to tarnish my love for him admiration with that...

wintera · 09/01/2012 19:32

Re - Atonement - yes but is he a rapist in that though? I'm not sure. When I first saw it I thought he was but then I watched it again and am not sure now. I think she may have consented to be honest but after they are spotted she says it was rape to avoid the disgrace.

wintera · 09/01/2012 19:36

Thinking about it though, it would definitely be statutory rape though certainly.

Yep, I knew it would be GFP too.

I did like the doggers, especially the car just rocking to and fro.

ScatterChasse · 09/01/2012 20:07

Oh Leonie, my tummy just flipped over watching that!
