shrinkingnora · 21/12/2011 21:58

Oh my god, the gardener just gets better.

scarletforya · 21/12/2011 21:58

Aw, the gardener is such a sweetheart. The only one in the whole village with a bit of human compassion.

PinkPussyCat · 21/12/2011 21:59

Aw I really want this to end happily for Richard Sad

hiddenhome · 21/12/2011 21:59

At least his garden's a bit better now.

planetpotty · 21/12/2011 22:01

Give him a knighthood! He just said it's ok for men to cry - I lurrrve him muchly Grin

OnTheTopOfTheWorld · 21/12/2011 22:01

OK, I have a major soft spot for Andy now. Richard couldn't have done anything like this without him.

What a lovely man.

Its finished, is it a series or is that it?

shrinkingnora · 21/12/2011 22:01

I am dissatisfied with that ending.

Sparklingbaubles · 21/12/2011 22:01

Oh no-when's Part 2? Shock

ChickensThinkYouCanGetStuffed · 21/12/2011 22:02

Poor bloke just needed a friend and someone to take an interest.

scarletforya · 21/12/2011 22:02

Me too. I wanted to see him getting a bed to sleep in and a kitchen. He looks underfed, the poor thing.

planetpotty · 21/12/2011 22:03

I give it six weeks and lurvely gardener man will have his own show helping hoarders.

Fair play Richard did brilliantly Smile

BetsyBoop · 21/12/2011 22:03

MavisGrind · 21/12/2011 22:05

The main factor of change in any type of therapy is the relationship, regardless how brilliantly skilful the therapist is in CBT or whatever, and that was what the gardener man was doing...giving him that relationship after years of loneliness.

I was really worried when he was cooking!

FreezusOfNazareth · 21/12/2011 22:07

Is there a Part 2? Felt so much for him. What a nice guy.

AsinineLadiesDancing · 21/12/2011 22:08

I obsessively compulsively watch an American show called 'Hoarders' on an obscure channel called Bio. It follows two people per episode and they often fail to help the hoarder by the end.

I think it's shocking how just not throwing out stuff can cause such misery. The root causes are complex, and apparently the experts in hoarding want it to be classed as a psychiatric illness in it's own right.

It also demonstrates that housework is not a mindless waste of time.

scarletforya · 21/12/2011 22:08

Yes, I was worried when he cooked. Was there newspapers on the other rings and just one ring to cook on?

TheGashlycrumbTinies · 21/12/2011 22:19

Is there going to be a part 2?

Sparklingbaubles · 21/12/2011 22:22

No-I don't think so Boiled. Typical. Angry
