I think it will all go tits up with the irish man and nurse one, car driving one will run somebody over (hopefully Matthews mum, I loathe her) and kill her.
Maggie Smith will have an affair with war dodging butler who doesn't work at Downton but whose name I can't remember.
William and Daisy will get married just before he is called to the front. She will be pregnant from their only night together. Alternatively, Thomas will come back with th ehole in his hand and take Daisy away from the lovely William.

About the only time I've felt compassion for Thomas is when he got himself shot through the hand. They portrayed the horror of the trenches very well I think.

Haven't seen Upstairs Downstairs since the first proper time it was on (70s).
The chauffeur in Downton is a wrong 'un. I'd like to see the sour faced sister (Edith?) be tricked into a one night stand with the chauffeur and end up pregnant.
Let her see what shame is. I really don't like that woman.

OK then, revised plan. Thomas comes back home and using his left hand (he was shot in the right one) he somehow manages to get Edith in a compromising position. He makes beautiful love to her back passage, some Tommy jizz drips down, enters her lady passage and she gets pregnant.
By the time Anna realises she hasn't had her monthly (Lady's don't need to keep track, that's what servants are for) it is too late for Mrs Pattmores patented sorter outer and she is forced into a life of humiliation being wed to Gay Tom.

and to add to the dreadful awfullness of the situation, they have to live with the one whose got a face like a smacked arse and looks like her hair is knitted.

Oh yes, 'smacked arse' O'Brien must be running low on lemons to suck, after all there is a war on.
