Just watched it on iPlayer. Confused.
That box thing certainly reminded me of the pandorica though - 'the perfect prison'.
I think the little girl has to be a little bit Timelordy, because how else would she regenerate? Surely if you can regenerate from "absorbing" TARDIS-y power, at least one of the humans who've been flitting around space would have managed to as well?
Could be River... after all, she's going backwards as the dr goes forwards. Reminds me a bit of The Timetraveller's Wife... And didn't she say, when she went back to prison at the end, that she'd escaped lots of times before? Obviously she was referring to prison, we've seen her escape several times, but could she also mean from other places, like the suit?
I've been convinced from the first or second time we saw River that she killed the doctor and that's why she's in prison, all those references to killing a great man and a worse day coming for her, etc etc.
Is the doctor really, truly, forever-and-ever dead though? Surely they'll find a way to save him somehow, because otherwise that's the end of Doctor Who, isn't it? Can't really carry on with a dead doctor...
Oh, and I don't believe the Silence is done for. Not after all the build up from last series etc. Would be silly to kill them off in the first episode. Almost as silly as killing off the Doctor... Besides, the Doctor has another 200 years to live before he summons everyone to his death, he must do something in that time, and there was a Silence there plus the spaceman so unless they're going to explain NOTHING they have to come back.
Wow, that's long and makes no sense. Hurrah. Maybe we'll all have an epiphany tomorrow and all will become clear.
