So the mum set him up - called in the anti-terrorist police who then tortured him to find out about the plot on the football stadium?

And now the parents have had a fight and she's killed him - but did she really kill Karl or does she just feel guilty about starting it?

Wow and they grab Boyd tomorrow.

How many more programmes are there in this series? It looks like Sarah is about to have a conflict of interest or perhaps lose her confidence when it comes to fighting to get Boyd back...

Surely not ... they can't be about to kill off Boyd???

Just looked it up - there are 10 programmes and I think tonight's was number 7? So they can't get rid of Boyd - can they?

I think that the terrorist plot could be very big misdirection - it is the obvious choice for the train tickets/the Islam conversion.

I could easily think that the mother snapped and did it, went loopy and the religious stuff was a step too far, she thought she was cleaning him.

However, this doesn't fit with the 2 ex-coppers.

The mother made the call to counter terrorism to say that they were corrupting him, that they were evil. This gets him on the watch list.

The muslim girl has his baby, but doesn't tell anyone - she knows something is going on. I don't see who is in it together. Is it the mother and the coppers? Or the girl and the coppers? The coppers and counter terrorism? It's quite bloody confusing.

If I hear the words "It's EEEEEEVVVVVVVVVVIIIIIIILLLLLLLLLLLLLL" again I might kill myself.

MAYBE _ he did have terrorist leanings, not extremist views, but just coming from the wrong direction, like the guys in Four Lions I suppose. The girl is involved somehow - he relies on her to keep him safe. He gets tortured, not by the police, maybe by someone in the group who is undercover? It gets covered up. I think the mother is a red herring - she is simply crazy.

OK - so how about:

The group of Islamic friends did have terror associations, but Karl didn't. Somehow (fuck knows how) he ends up as a mole within the group. The girlfriend knows that he is a mole, maybe she got him into it (this is how she knows the retired coppers) and she works both sides, helping to keep him safe.

They find out, or suspect that he might be spying on them and they torture him for information. They kill him in the end, and the whole thing is covered up. This way, the police don't get bad mouthed for torturing, just for sending someone in and them getting killed.

first story narcisstic mum with munchhausens by proxy
then mum who sleeps with her adopted snatched son and then murders rest of family to protect him
last week pregnant mum murders lover in fit of anger
this week religious nutcasezealot mum

oooh I hope so! I have thought about it so much I can almost believe it is true. So when it all comes out that the crazy mother hired a man in the easter bunny suit to kill him with blunt nail clippers, I suppose I'll look a little silly, won't I?

So Karl fell out of an aeroplane into the reservoir - no other way he could have got in as there are filters to block rubbish. It's a bit like one of those logical-thinking puzzles

shes being set up Dysgu. The freaky guy was meant to meet her, and text and cancelled - then text her to go to the basement. She was planted there
