god i think i want another baby

wonderstuff · 24/01/2011 21:16

i'll never forget dd's first cry, was only a few seconds after she was born but felt like forever, the feeling of immense relief will never leave me. Best noise I ever heard in my entire life ever. DS cried straight away, and I really don't remember it much (poor neglected second born that he is)

ReshapeWhileDamp · 24/01/2011 21:16

teapot Shock £125??

shinydiscoball · 24/01/2011 21:16

just switched on, did I miss a baby already?? Shock thank goodness for Ch4+1

spilttheteaagain · 24/01/2011 21:16

I like birth pool dad so far - seems interested, involved etc.

Like others, terrified watching car birth baby. The silence and the poor mum pitifully asking "is the baby alive?" Sad Most horrible few moments of her life I expect.

NonnoMum · 24/01/2011 21:16

DH just told me that DC2 looked like blue baby coming out. Now he tells me!

hollyoaks · 24/01/2011 21:16

That tea pot was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!

MumInBeds · 24/01/2011 21:16

This time three years ago I was giving birth (at home) to my third surrogate baby - there was lots and lots of walking around then.

baskingseals · 24/01/2011 21:16

almost can't bear to watch

hollyoaks · 24/01/2011 21:17

DD1 had the cord round her neck twice and came out blue and silent, heart stopping moment :(

Hopelesslydisorganised · 24/01/2011 21:17

"nodding dog" lol

whomovedmychocolate · 24/01/2011 21:17

PetitDonkey - as someone who lives in a thatched cottage and owns several teapots, I'm afraid you'd be disappointed, almost everyone in the countryside is pissed after 3pm Grin

wonderstuff · 24/01/2011 21:17

I think that every week baskingseals then I remember how awful pregnancy is and then ds wakes me up three times in the night and I go off the idea for another week.

NonnoMum · 24/01/2011 21:17

Best edit so far - "I know all about her heart problems"

then, "What do palpitations mean?"

ROFL

ReshapeWhileDamp · 24/01/2011 21:17

oh god, he picked her out on facebook

PrincessBoo · 24/01/2011 21:17

Oh dear Lord.

DirtyMartini · 24/01/2011 21:18

Yeah expat, I just thought she might have said something about her previous birth experience that had made her feel more that way. She did say something that I missed cos of typing.

jojosmaman · 24/01/2011 21:18

And I don't think Julia is 31..

ColleenEatsVeg · 24/01/2011 21:18

Aww bless this annoying man

FanjolinaJolie · 24/01/2011 21:18

get up get up ladies

petitdonkey · 24/01/2011 21:18

Grin!! wouldn't really be disappointed at all!

Meglet · 24/01/2011 21:18

I couldn't get up when I was in labour, think my blood pressure had plumetted - it's always very low. Each time I took my head off the pillow I thought I would keel over. My plans of an active labour were soon out the window.

I recognise that Donna too.

spilttheteaagain · 24/01/2011 21:18

Why haven't they run the pool yet?

MrsPennySworth · 24/01/2011 21:18

Wow the guy with the woman in the pool room seems amazing so far. Think he seems the most supportive partner I've seen on here so far. I wish I had someone saying things like that to me when I was in labour!

baskingseals · 24/01/2011 21:19

yes thanks wonderstuff - just remind me again what a slog it is - it's just so emotional watching it
