As others have said, I have high hopes for Season 4. Apparently it is called The Season on the Witch, so hopefully we are going to get some Eric action.

I've not read any of the books so I'm just enjoying it for what it is.

I love all the characters except Bill! He has to be the most boring and bland character surely? There seems nothing more to him than his obsession with 'Sookeh'

Wintera I just IMDB'd James Frain and he is indeed Franklin. I was racking my brains when watching trying to think who he could be and had forgotton all about Franklin until you said - thanks for putting me out of my misery

I agree Tara is rather irratating and Bill is just wet. Don't mind Jessica, you have to feel sorry for someone sired by Bill, I loved the scene this week when she's asking Pam for advice.

I like Tara. She's a fiesty character though a bit mopey at the moment, understandably.

I do think it's a shame that Bill has become such a crappy character nowadays. I rewatched some early eps recently and he was so much better in the first season. I thought he was great, much sexier too. Those first few sex scenes with him and Sookie are hot hot hot!

It's not the tv show's fault really as the same thing happens in the books too. Eric starts becoming more and more central as the books go on.

I feel the same way about Tara too. Great in the first season, but she irritates the hell out of me now.

the tara franklin thing is annoying me, he is overly creepy. And the essex accent seems really weird in the context

dp and I just looked at each other at the end of last nights and went 'Huh?!'.... Bill's normally weird and annoying but that was just bizarre.

Anywho.... Eric Northman and Alcide more than make up for having to endure Bill Compton... I'm still holding out hope he dies soon
