It's a teenage novel about Fallen Angels and the sequel Torment is also out now. I borrowed them from work and really enjoyed them (and there's no sex)

Sorry but have got to admit it . . . last night's ep bored me rigid I'm afraid. It only livened up in the last few minutes. Loved Eric in his blue top though.

Help! I missed Friday's True Blood, went to watch it on catch up on tv and the episode they have is from the week before. Does anyone know if there is any other way of watching Friday's episode?

Friday's episode was much better than the week before, which was dullsville in my opinion. But it picked up again last week I thought.

when sookie was in the gardeny place, it went dark and Claudia was saying "don't let him take your light"
all of a sudden it went dark, she fainted and Bill was on screen.

I think she was talking about Bill. The "thing" that Sookie is don't like Vampires. Their blood is very tasty to Vamps, intoxicating even. That's in the books but this could be different, this has happened earlier than in the books.

what wintera said, it's just that's he's a vampire and because sookie is 'special' tha's whya ll the vamps love her BUT bill has had her blood before, surely he would have mentioned something?

He's only had little tastes before though, this time he took far too much so it would have more effect I guess. She must be very tasty! Smile

I can't remember if their blood had protection/healing qualities in the books though. He didn't burn in the sun so obviously something is going on. Not sure how I feel about them NOT doing the really bad thing from the book. There's a part of me that thinks it was fine, it was enough that he drained her, but I would have liked to have seen how they would handle the after effects of her attack from the book.

On the whole though that was a top notch episode, I am loving Jason this Season, he's really growing on me as a character. And the girl they have playing Debbie! I hate her just as much as I hated her character in the book so she is definitely doing something right!!

someone has said that sookie is a fairy that why vamps are fascinated by her, not sure though havent read all the books!

Yes I agree, If they were going to have him attack her like that then they may as well have gone the whole hog.
He was burning a bit, he would have gone and buried himself, like he did when rescuing sookie from the serial killer blokey, he was okay in the sun for a bit, godric wasn't as he was that much older

Bit Hmm about next week havign seen previews, nudey eric having sex, ossom, but with talbot? he's ew!

I'm so glad sookie didn't wake up and start simpering at bill again... it's about time she got rid.

How ould she be a fairy if he parents and brother were human? Confused Jason saw he birth so it's not like she was a foundling or likely to be a changling
